advice for the future thread

this thread is for helping other robots with their future situation i.e robots that havent given up and are working towards concrete goals.

>ask questions
>give advice(advice you can argue for, opinions are useless.
>try to be nice, no one can enforce this but try to not act like a child
>racebaiting,classbaiting or any other form of bait is deterimental to /r9k/ and doesnt get us anywhere.

my plan for the next years

>get bachelors in philosophy at university
>get my highschool gradesup while doing so
>go for cyberteknikk and robotic phd. afterwards
should i do it or is philosophy studies useless?
do you think having a masters when you are 28 matters?

this is mostly paid for by the state as I'm a yuropoor. any advice is welcome btw.
