It feels so good to be happy and in love and blocking the entire sidewalk.

Why do normals do this? Is it a bragging thing?
I don't see why they can't wait until they get home to hold hands or kiss or whatever other shit they do.
>>37844695
Literally this
I live in Canada so every cuck couple just mutters to themselves at worst
>>37844799
It's called affection. There is no sinister ulterior motive
>>37844799
It's more of a social signal thing. "He/she is mine, piss off". You just think it's bragging because you are envious of them.
You're more likely to assume a couple is a couple if they're holding hands. If they aren't you're likely to assume they're friends/acquaintances/family/not dating and thereforr fair game to swoop in and chat up.
>>37844844
No, its rudeness as it inconveniences everyone else for no reason. They'd start fucking right there if they could get away with it.
>>37844695
That sounds fun as fuck
I wish I was autistic enough to do stuff like that
>>37844885
I feel less anxious walking in public when I do alpha stuff like that
>>37844882
Haha ok there Mr. Sour-grapes
>>37844878
If I had a gf I wouldn't be a burden on everyone else so no it's not envy.
And I seriously doubt people get approached in couples like that often enough to warrant pda.
>>37844668
I never realized how much of a disgusted face I make when I see this scene, until I caught my reflection in a car.
>>37844695
did something similar in high school. my friend was afraid to go to his locker cause a goth couple were making out in front of it, I just walked up and said excuse me and pushed between them and took his shit and brought it back to him. Most alpha thing I ever did, I still hang out with the kid who was making out, and the kid whose books I retrieved. He wasn't goth, actually, but his gf was.

Signaling pda is not so much of a conscious thought though. What I described is more subconscious, a deeper instinct that wants others to back off from our partners. Especially in a male, you instinctively want to protect your gf from other men and keep her to yourself to ensure your offsrping.
I mean it's great that you wouldn't want to "piss off" people like yourself by actively refusing pda with a theoretical mate, but that has little to nothing to do with explaining why regular couples participate in pda. Chad and stacy don't think "haha look at this fucking nerd virgin, lets dry hump on the park bench just to piss him off", in fact they don't think about you at all.
