reminder that food/necessities and resources are easy for bonobos to come by, and they are not as complex in many ways as much as humans are.
that method of ruling won't last long, eventually the sex will become exclusive to only a few certain groups/people based on power, ownership of resources, or even primal things like looks and brute strength,
and everyone else will not receive any and will remain at the bottom, or be separated into lower and higher classes, if they don't die off first, that is.

It's completely infeasible and you have to suspend disbelief in order to construct one. But lets say there's magic or some sort of estrogen powered technology that is indistinguishable from magic.

By necessity they'd have to exterminate >80% of men, otherwise the men would just immediately take over. I mean, we barely tolerate women exercising political power right now, especially given the suicidal policies they yearn for.

So the 1:1 sex ratio would probably have to be abandoned. They'd probably keep a bunch of pretty boys as entertainment destroy the rest. Or maybe they have some sort of mind-control tech or some sort of drug/surgery combination that turns most men into docile, gelded drone workers so we can continue to fulfill the physical labor requirements of civilization. I mean, most of the physical labor that actually perpetuates our modern way of life is performed by men, and unless hundreds of thousands of women suddenly decide that they want to be pipefitters, cement workers, mechanics, electricians, millwrights, heavy equipment operators, etc, civilization is going to collapse pretty darned quick. But maybe they have some sort of estrogen powered super-AI robots to handle all that stuff. Who knows, we're in the realm of fantasy here.

If a Chimpanzee troop and a Bonobo troop encounter each other in the wild, the Chimps absolutely murder the Bonobos. Humans are more like Chimps because peaceful, non-aggressive groups get slaughtered by aggressive groups, and the aggressive groups survive and propagate.

The reason we don't have any significant matriarchal societies in human history is that they'd get conquered by patriarchal societies. Without some sort of deus ex machina magic technology or some geographical miracle keeping them separated from patriarchies, matriarchies aren't something that can survive.

Bonobos live on the south side of the Congo river, and Chimps live on the north side. They very rarely encounter each other. There have been cases of them being housed together in zoos, and the Chimps tend to kill the Bonobos because they're passive and weak.

Well, actually in paleolithic times there actually was a pretty constant state of war, it's just that social organization hadn't progressed to the point where mass mobilization and long campaigns were possible. Wars just tended to be a never-ending series of punitive raids against one's neighbors. Death by violence was extremely common, but by ones and twos every week instead of hundreds or thousands every few years.

There are primitive tribes in Papua New Guinea that still live this way. I raid you, stab your uncle, steal your yams, then a week later you raid me, club my nephew in the head, and steal a pig. The death rate is low but constant, as opposed to warfare between states which is infrequent but extremely lethal.

Tribalism and arising conflict shouldn't be considered war. War is a term used to armed conflict among very large groups of people or nations. It is not commonly used to describe conflict among groups of dozen or more people that would have been common in Paleolithic times.

You can get a decent idea of how dangerous this conflict is if you consider life expectancy. Once you account for childhood morality, the average life expectancy for Paleolithic times is 54 years. That doesn't imply an excessive amounts of violence at all.

The reason why Paleolithic warlessness matters, because it's a more natural state to compare ourselves to other primates who throughout much of history had amble land and resources.

It's entierly possible that much of prehistory had humans being more peaceful to each other than modern humans. It's resources that we fight over, and the Bonobos don't see that problem. The female Bonobos are not even sexually selective.
