I think samus was the closet I ever fell In love with a fictional character, her and link and toonlink, also Maribelle from Fire Emblem, but I'm not sure if this counts I've fallen in love with someone who played a video game as a kid, it was some typical loser spic girl I met on roblox and deeply regretted online dating, just at how cringe worthy it was but I was a stupid kid, other wise I've only had a few waifus as a teen but not any longer, which were tomoko, Momiji (from fruit's basket) and tamaki (from OHSHC). Now I have little to no interesting in romantic interests and could give less of a shit, I've only had 2 irl girls I almost fell in love with but fucked them up due to my autism.
