I played through LIS and enjoyed it quite a bit the first time. Since then I have watched 3-4 separate playthroughs from different youtubers/streamers and have come to the conclusion that the game is pretty fucking terrible. It baits you in with the sappy music and qt bi girls, which is somehow enough for people (including myself) to not notice the terrible gameplay, storyline and cringy as fuck dialog.

And that ending. What the everloving fuck.

This was one of the cringiest games I've played in a while. I got through episode 1 via pure determination but the writing, characters, and "gameplay" are disgusting. I then watched the rest of the game via youtube so that I would know the story at least. I regret doing that.

He means that each line of dialogue she had felt like it was focus tested to have the right amount of quirky, cute, and hip to seem relatable but not overly offensive or "weird". Pandering basically. I don't mind though. Still a comfy game.
