I was well on my way to being a fuck up but I pretty much have my last chance to not be a basement dweller for the rest of my life
>taking online courses this summer
It's like classes I'm allowed to drink beer and smoke in. I may never go back to real school

I failed pre-calculus trig like 3 times.
Pretty much ruined my GPA and lost motivation to bother putting any effort in my other courses. Im stem, so if I can't pass Trig, im not allowed to take any of my major courses.
Fourth times the charm I guess.

I've failed chemistry and calculus I twice. I'm too scared to take them again but I'm in computer science and I have to
>be a student of Global development studies

Im terrible at math as well.
I still dont know how to do long division and ive long fogotten most of my times tables.
I really wanted to go to college, but to get ANY degree i have to be atleast competent in math.
No matter what ive tried or how long i study it just looks like a jumble of numbers to me, but i guess if there is a god, this is what i was born to be.
A complete dumbass.

makes my neurons tingle, it's the only thing I can see myself doing as a self-purpose
I think it'll give me a very broadly applicable education and doing it at a top 50 uni might actually give me a chance of employment in academia or somewhere else if that plan were to fail(which is likely, I know)

>chemistry
>in computer science
why? asking seriously, yuropoor here
tfw your last 4 grades were fails

It was a requirement at the community college, but I think I can take something in place of it at the university
I did pretty poor in math related things when I transferred from community college to university. I had to completely reteach myself through some pretty rudimentary books the underlying concepts and patterns of algebra. I did fine in algebra and trig in community college but their standards were much lower than what the university had. Had to drop from Calc the first time I took it and return a semester later after a lot of self study. Ended up with a B then got an A in both physics 1 & 2. Bettering my understanding of math also really helped my success in chemistry, genetics and physiology. My point is that math is the underlying skill for most "difficult" things you'll have to learn. Start from the very basics and take it step by step. You're probably just lazy like I was and unlikely stupid if you made it up to calc or something in college.
How do I tell my parents that I'm not settling for some hbcu nigfest, even if it means settling for something farther from home and more expensive? They're hyper-sensitive to racist shit and I don't want to lose my free family gibs by giving a full 1488 explanation.
