This. Get a classical. It has plastic strings and you can pick up the basic chords in like two weeks you can play simple songs. BUT ONLY DO IT if you consider yourself to be at least a little musical and have some interest in music. Piano is a good choice too

If I'm not mistaken, you can find keyboard instruments at that price. Buy one and watch Synesthesia tutorials on youtube. In a few weeks, you could play your own cover on a piano. You don't need to be classically trained.
