>applied to a couple of jobs online
How long does it usually take to hear back? I've never had a job so answers would be appreciated
Usually about 5 business days I'd say

I just applied for my first job, and I got a call back the next day, with an immediate offer for full time, $10 an hour. It's an overnight shelf stocking position at a grocery store.

A couple of days to a couple of months.
99% time never, applied to hundreds online via indeed not a single e-mail or call. Im in canada
My current job didn't get back to me for 2 weeks, then they hired me on the spot that day after a 15 min interview.
Keep applying tho, every single day I'd go on indeed and apply to jobs.

My uncle is letting me bullshit that I worked for his company desu. Very nice and may give me an edge in getting a job. I don't feel too wrong about it, I'm just anxious for a reply.

Fuck dude that's awesome..but I doubt I need any job experience for those jobs kinda sucks if I did
>>37438737
Fuck, I did that when I first got out of high school
Fucks up your sense of time, also doesn't help that they keep playing the same shitty music and advertisements all night every night.

>apply to multiple places online
>a month later get a call
>answer all pissy because I've been getting a lot of wrong numbers lately
>it was Safeway
>never hear from them again
Probably depends on the job but I'll throw in my experience. When I was 16 (19 now) I applied to a pizza shop.
>went inside to get the application (if you can you should try to apply in person, that adds a face to your application)
>knew a guy who worked there for a long time and asked him to put in a good word for me
>got a call about a week later
>they didn't even interview me
It really depends on if the company need anyone or not. We have like 10 applications just sitting in the file cabinet for a few months cause we didn't need to hire anyone.
I'll give it a week or 2
Shouldn't take too long DESU
