Just buy a new computer.

For images, videos and whatever: upload to the cloud or an external drive, then erase them from the pc. Either that or encrypt them.

Anything that stores or companies can / will fix are mostly problems that already have answers a Google search away, and if you need to buy shit are much cheaper than paying someone to do it.

The only time you should pay someone to do anything tech-related is if your hard drive fails and you need to get the data off it, or anything that the end user can't do without specialist equipment / knowledge.

Nigger that shit is piss easy, just buy a new fan and replace it. If it doesn't work then send it back for a refund. Much cheaper than anything Best Buy would charge you for.

If that doesn't work then remove the heatsink and reapply thermal paste. Again easy to do and you'll probably spend like $20 at most, probably way less.

put them in a truecrypt locker. truecrypt was "killed" by its creators when they stopped updating it but you can get it from other sources safely.

truecrype is not secure but nobody at best buy is going to see a 10gb file named "aaaaa" and try to bruteforce it

There's no telling if they'll go through the "marked for overwrite" sections of the drive, but I highly doubt they'd think to do that. I sure as fuck wouldn't, and I know how to check the damned things.

i always go through everyones files looking for nudes

- download truecrypt 7.1a
- create encrypted file container and put in all your special files
- download ccleaner
- do one scrub with the wipe free disk space option on (this will take a while)

do this and you will be fine
