The study of the human penis is still in its infancy and there is a ton we don't know about it.

The clitoral hood is homologous to the foreskin, but that doesn't mean the inner lining of the vagina isn't. The foreskin is a huge amount of tissue so different parts could have different counterparts in the female.

The problem is, those have never actually been proven to exist in the human male. A lot of doctors and scientists doubt that humans have Tyson's glands. But it was reported as a medical fact for decades and tons of doctors were taught that they really do exist.
