It can work if there's a formality to the relationship (you buy drugs from them) but if it is a "friendship" first and not "someone I smoke weed with" then it won't work. That's absolutely correct, anon. It's good you recognize the issue and act on it. I think part of the problem is women are so hard wired to want to maintain their relationships. Younger women (under 40) typically have a hard time finding this reasoning evident in terms of the asset weight. Men and women are both VERY useful in life but in very specialized ways. Especially when it comes to relationships with the opposite sex. Consider that a classic reason for a marriage failing is a mother in law's meddling (she's losing a huge asset!). Another healthy way mothers deal with their sons getting married is forming a relationship with the women so they win out in all directions.
