>tfw 23 and can't tie my shoes
>>37044048
hehehe, bonehead!
>>37044048
Watch the episode of spongebob where they teach it through catchy song.
>>37044048
If you can't tie your shoes by 10 you're probably retarded
How do you cope with this? Does your mom do it for you or do you wear sandals?
>>37044048
two bunny ears
cross over, around under and through
I couldn't do it until I was 12 and still have to retie most shoes laces a few times if I wear them all day
>>37044048
>didn't know how to do laundry until I was 28
>>37044130
>tfw 1252 years old
>still cant tie shoes
I just ate an hard boiled egg
>>37044101
written and sung by Ween, greatest band ever
I used to trick normies into tying my shoes until I learned how to tie them myself
>>37044048
YouTube tutorials are the embarrassed mans friend.
>>37044130
I didn't know how to tie my shoes until I was like 11.
Kids made fun of me for wearing velcro shoes, so my mom instead made me wear regular shoes with these abominations for shoelaces.
>>37044135
I didn't learn until I was ten. The girlfriend of father at that time taught me that method and she btfo'ed my mom telling her she didn't know how to raise kids. She was right, because years later and long after my dad and her broke up, her kids are all successful while my siblings are failures.

I FUCKING TRIED I CAN'T FUCKING DO IT!!! MY PARENTS TRIED TO SHOW ME WHEN I WAS FUCKING 13 AND I COULDN'T! INTERNET GUIDES DON'T HELP! SPONGEBOB DOESN'T HELP! IT'S NOT FAIR I CAN DRIVE A CAR, COOK, CODE, BUT I CAN'T TIE A SHITTY SHOELACE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Wow, OP. I literally learned how to tie my shoes when I was like, in first or second grade. I didn't even have to have anyone show me how to do it. I just naturally decided I wanted to start tying my shoes myself, and so I taught myself.
Everyone says I tie my shoes left-handed though.

>went to boarding school
>got normie roommate to tie my neckties for me
he was a good guy, didn't really fit any of the r9k stereotypes. this wasn't his actual name but if he had an r9k archetype to describe him I would name it "Ben"
>>37044296
Wtf? What do you mean by r9k archetype? And who's 'Ben'?
Also, that's really cool. Was it a co-ed boarding school, like in Code Lyoko?
I always wished that I went to a co-ed boarding school like in Code Lyoko
>didn't know how to read time or remember all the months of the year until I was like 14 years old
>>37044256
what the fuck why didn't she just buy you some slip on vans or something
>>37044296
Yeah, neckties are tricky, because there's several ways to tie them. The only way I know is the full-windsor.
I went to a boarding school type place and I had to wear a necktie everyday
>>37044423
because the school doesn't allow kids to wear meme slippers to gym class.
>>37044373
Same here. I always got May and June in the wrong order.
>tfw 24 and still have to sing the entire ABCs to figure out alphabetical order.
>>37044453
Neckties are tricky because you have to start them at a different place on your belt/wherever everytime and if you fuck up it's too short/long and if you retie it has wrinkles
Sorry for mobile posting but have you considered slip ons? I broke both my arms when I was 14 and had to wear them, and it changed my life forever. So comfy.
i have to sing the abcs too lol
>>37044504
Yeah
Once I got it though, wearing them made me feel like I was important
>>37044510
These but in white care cash
>>37044350
I meant like, "Chad" "Brad" "Stacey" "Betty", it might have been a stupid construction.
People that I've know who have been named Ben been have always kind of been fairly genial almost NPC types. I feel like it's a "Ben" trait (note: no data behind this.)
I never watched Code Lyoko. It was co-ed but the dorms were segregated by sex. I didn't want to be there at all and never stopped resenting my psuedo-detention there. A lot of people were there because they wanted to be, and it was certainly a privileged environment. That said, my parents shipped me off there because they couldn't find a way to force me to go to class at public school.
Living in a place filled with rich normies where everyone knows everyone and you can't leave is robot hell.

I got it down by the end of that year, and I do like ties now. My motor skills are shit though, still a struggle sometimes if I fumble (usually smooth autopilot) and start thinking about it. I was one of the tards who started wearing slip ons and sandals young so I didn't have to have everyone see me struggle to tie lace-ups.
>tfw can't type
And they told me i was stupid when i was 6 and couldnt tie them.
My mum had to go with me to short track training and tie my skates for me. I was like 11 and got so embarrassed I had to learn to do it myself. Just know that you won't be looked at as an adult if you can't tie your shoes. Do or die, famzo.
>>37044048
I learned this when I was 13 and everyone else already knew.
