Nice google fiber friendo. My speeds are 223down 15up.
>>
5 down, 1.2 up and yes I'm from Australia.
>>
Like 70 up and down on a good day, usually more like 50.
Which feels like light speed compared to the 5-10 I used to get.
>>
Averages about 10mbps up and 2Mbps down. Literally the worst part about living with my mom. RIP my ratios.
>>
Somewhere near 50 kbps (as in kilobits) download, and 10 kbps upload. I live in rural Appalachia and there is only one ISP available, so they've got no incentive to actually provide the 1 mbps that I pay for. Additionally, they don't maintain the cables at all, so the connection is down for an hour or more daily, and sometimes it just stays out for days or weeks on end.

For reference, I played MMORPG's on dial-up (128kbps) but can't even successfully download the updates for the same games on my "high speed connection". Images load extremely slowly from top to bottom, and high-res images are likely to fail before completely loading over the course of 10-15 minutes.

I guess that my whole community shares the same line, because the internet gets fast as shit (>500 kbps) between 2 and 5 pm, when everyone is asleep.

How is it possible to have that bad of internet in the US? I know someone in rural Montana that has 5 down.

Monopoly. Frontier communication's local branch intentionally cuts our service to almost nothing because they know that we can't switch to another ISP, so the choice is third-world connection speed or no connection at all.

10gbps fiber in the netherlands

I've lived in a third world country and I had like 6mb down and 1mb up

i have the slowest plan you can buy without being on welfare.

it isn't bad, but the latency is atrocious.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
