Fluid IQ goes down with age. Can't really do anything to stop it. Can make it slow down by exercise. Not just yoga or night walks. Specifically weight training, or high intensity interval training.

Think about it. You could construct sentences way better when you were young as you were probably in school and therefore were practicing your reading and writing five days a week. You need to get back into some sort of routine where you do enough reading and writing to maintain your level of literacy.

Read more. Watch TV with captions. Keep a diary/journal.

If you surround yourself with crap and only consume crap, then of course you'll rot your brain.

Pretty sure this happening to me as well. Being an alcoholic and doing absolutely nothing since being out of any sort of education has really taken its toll. I have a hard time pronouncing words now and stuttering a lot.

Auto correct is my saving grace right now.
