Hi r9k,
I've been working on a YouTube channel debunking some of the nonsense that Bill Nye has been pushing on YouTube. I've been taking advice and feedback from 4chan as I go.
From last time, I tried to work on the echo sound (I hope it's gone - I bought some foam to place my microphone in front of), speak faster, and make the presentation more interesting.
I'd love some more feedback and advice.

Jfc, I swear I saw this thread on pol. What are you trying to gain from shilling so much?
>>36807646
I think the video is relevant to both r9k and pol. As for what I'm trying to gain, I want to figure out how to produce better content by talking to people and seeing what they like.
I spend a lot of time on both boards and want to get advice, as well as share what I've made. This is my third video, and I already feel like the quality has improved a lot, and I think a lot of that is due to the feedback I've been getting.

>I tried to work on the echo sound (I hope it's gone - I bought some foam to place my microphone in front of)
But Bill Nye's name is supposed to echo.
>>36807697
I'll remove my sound dampening foam whenever I say his name.
There's already a million debunk channels out there, what exactly do you bring to the table?
>>36807692
>I think the video is relevant to both r9k and pol
How?
Here's my objection to your conspiracy theory. Bill Nye isn't a scientist. He's a "science guy". He isn't trying to push anything for any reason other than to make money. He's an entertainer.

I'm trying to bring a more research oriented focus to the genre. For example, of the four sources that I show on screen, all are publications from academic research organizations. In other words, I'm going into the science itself, not just quoting news articles, other YouTubers and blogs to make my points.
I like this question though, because I hadn't really thought about it before. I do need to work to differentiate myself. Thanks.

Relevant on pol because of the thrust of my criticism, which is that Bill Nye uses science as a setting or as entertainment in order to deliver his social political message.
Relevant on r9k because of this board's concern over gender issues - not to mention the logical/analytical approach I hope I bring to the table harkens back to the original aspirations of r9k.
>>36807368
Are you in a concrete chamber or a basement? How did you get so much reverb?
>>36807807
Political activist.

>Relevant on r9k because of this board's concern over gender issues
You mean this boards obsession with traps. I do think your content is pretty interesting but I just didn't see how it was relevant on r9k besides obvious shilling
>>36807947
I don't know. I actually don't hear any reverb. I wonder if the effect might be coming from the cars driving by my apartment - maybe I've just gotten so used to it that my brain filters out the signal. My apartment does have high ceilings and some exposed concrete.
Unfortunately hard to get away from... I know there is a bowling alley near me that has karaoke rooms you can rent for ten dollars an hour. I could always go there, rent a room, record all my sound, then edit it later.

It's definitely another hypothesis, but he seems so consistently on the left / sjw side of things that I think he has some kind of agenda. If he just made a politics free science show I feel like he could make money - fans from both sides.
Maybe he does this to attract attention.

>legitimizing this bullshit by even trying to debunk it
anyone with a working brain knows this is nothing more than delusional shit, nothing scientific about it
>>36807368
>implying I'll click your video so I can be instantly branded as an alt-right cuck viewer
It took me 2 weeks to stop youtube from popping up Alex Jones and milo garbage as recommendations
>>36808186
>he doesn't enjoy watching aj and milo do what they do
regardless of their beliefs, they're pretty entertaining folks
>>36808186
>It took me 2 weeks to stop youtube from popping up Alex Jones and milo garbage as recommendations
What did you start watching then?
>>36808186
>having a youtube account
OR
>not clearing your cookies
either way you're a normie and should leave
>>36808392
>you're a normie
Implying this board isn't 99.99% normies
>>36808415
that's probably exaggerated, but its not nearly as far off as it should be
>>36808186
Just opposing Bill Nye probably makes me come off as alt-right. I get that. Still, I tried to keep it normie friendly. There's nothing about my video (I think) that would make anyone think of the alt-right or 4chan. Every controversial claim I make is backed by scientific literature.
If you let google control what you do or see out of fear of what they'll know about you, then you're already ceding them control. Also, I hope you don't use chrome or android. Otherwise they likely know you're on 4chan have "alt-right" tagged on you by default. Apologies.
