Of course I've tried that. Even if you follow all the rules on the surface, normies still notice something "off" about you and just pick up the fact that there is something wrong with you. My autism prevents me from knowing what it is exactly they find "off."

Usually the problem is, that your roleplay isn't fluent and not congruent. Normies sense this. Just think about bad actors or a shitty voice syncronisation.

Your moves could be to slow and shy or you send mixed signals because you don't control your facial expressions or body movement well or you don't know how authentic moves are supposed to look like. You really have to read some books and train to act authentic.

If you aren't a Neet you could try the same as me: Read on body language then use public transportation and put on different roles every time. Like the shy one, the strong one, the cool one, the cute one, the scared one,.... It's really eye opening how people react differently everytime if you do it correct.

Pretty much this. I have two pairs of sunglasses, a dark pair for outside and a lighter one for indoors. It's just enough so they can't see my aversion to eye contact. It's been the best trick I've found, and I'm already very sensitive to light so it's dual-purpose.

It's called the uncanny valley. I've tried workshops, watched videos, talked to the mirror, all that shit. If anything it's more unnerving than if I just acted how I naturally would.
