I have been lifting and I am seeing progress, but I eat too many sweets so I am getting fatter too. I started off borderline skelly (130 lbs 5'11) but now I'm almost 150 (with alot of that being fat gain.) for some reason I started to binge eat because of severe depression; foos is the only thing in life that I can enjoy anymore. The first and last time I went to the gym was to use a coupon for a free month that was expiring that day.


I rushed there and stood at the counter for what feels like forever.

There was some 19 year old kid in the back laughing and talk with some Staceys who looked like he worked there since he was behind the counter. It's not like there was a bell to ring to get his attention so I just waited.

Finally he looked towards the desk and acknowledged my presence with "sup brah" and I mumble about my free month coupon.

He took my ID and punched some things into a computer, occasionally taking a break to slam knuckles with other bros that were coming and coming behind me.

Finally he said "all right brah you're good to go" and walked away before I even finished putting my wallet away.

He didn't explain anything about where the lockers were, how they worked, what my free month was all about, etc.

So I just left and never went back. I bought some weight and I work out from home.

I also don't want to be "that guy" who uses a machine all funny because he was never shown how it works and then some mean normies secretly film him and put it online.
