My boyfriend's a 5'6" 4/10-looking guy, but he's my absolutely favorite person on this awful planet.
Just checking in to say that you have hope.
I started hanging out with him because he's good for a thoughtful argument and reads the same genres I do. It's a cliche, but just get out there and meet some people!

You're either a girl, in which case none of your advice applies to guys as you could just sit there and get orbiters.
Or you're a feminine gayboy in which case read above.
I've met 20 people off this site now with the intention of making them my gf and counting. It's going nowhere. Die normie. Die.

Ah. Straight-passing male, actually.
Filthy intellectual

Maybe this is a bad place to look for a relationship.Or maybe you just have a rotten personality.

I'm serious, though, try to find people at a book club. I've never had an easy time making friends or carrying conversations, but at a book club having notes for what you can talk about actually looks conscientious and clever.
It really helped me. Also, this way you can showcase your mind and opinions instead of needing to be a Chad, which should help.

I only get along with people who play the same vidya as me and watch the same stuff.
And I only get interested romantically in people who shower me in attention and affection and are obsessive and clingy over me.

Your tastes can't be that exclusive.
For the second one: daddy issues.
>>36625347
Maybe not that exclusive if it was irl. But any fembot I meet online who is "not into vidya but into anime and drawing and blablabal" is just not gonna work. What do we do together then? We can't play vidya together, we can't watch movies since she only watches anime. So do I just look at her drawings? I really can't find any way to make that work without me getting bored and looking for better girls.

My boyfriend goes to art galleries and volunteers at the local museum with me, but he mostly just awkwardly shrugs and says "sure" when I show him my new skins/polygonal flow/rigging setup. Getting good grades on that shit, so my self-esteem isn't hurt. He's just not that into it.
We have similar tastes in vidya, which is a bit of a problem. There's been a housewide ban on us playing c&c/aoe/even fucking stellaris against eachother. It gets ugly.
We still do lots of fun shit together, though! I helped him get his first adult-size bike, and we've been using it a lot. At first, he'd only join me if we were biking to the library, but now he enjoys it. It's cute.
Volunteering's good, too. You could also cook together, or go to fun events or meetups. It's not like you can do nothing but play vidya.

The first line of my post woman
>Maybe not that exclusive if it was irl
IRL way more shit is possible than online. Hell I'd take up exercising or hiking or sports with my gf if we were irl. But online vidya and movies is all I got once smalltalk runs out.
>>36625162
what the heck does that even mean rotfl
>>36625690
Means I don't look like a queermo. You know who I'm talking about. The glittery, skinny jean-wearing person who actually says the word "YASS" out loud and has an emotional investment in RuPaul.
You know, terrible people.
>>36625633
So, why not look for someone irl? As I've said, hobby- or book-oriented groups help a lot because you already have common ground to talk about.
>>36626073
Alright here we go the IRL advice part. Help me find a girl in this degenerate country in this tiny cancer town.
Hobby / Book groups? Can already tell you they don't exist here.
>>36626099
What's keeping you in your area? Just asking as a person who doesn't mind moving for jobs.
>>36626232
I follow uni here and I have no idea how to move out
>>36625068
>Just checking in to say that you have hope
Just enough hope to make sure we don't quit and stop working our slave jobs. You can go fuck yourself for all I care.
>>36626295
Oh, are you still in school? Or did you not leave after you graduated?
What if I have a shitty boring personality as well?
>>36626753
Still in uni for one year.
