I'm going to go ahead and call bullshit on this, AI is still shit, these "conversation" are probably either cleverbot tier, prerecorded lines or a use google to fill in the blank in some sort of sentence structure with a generic fallback line when it inevitably errors out. Real robowaifus won't exist for another few generations.

The AI seemed surprising, but yeah it probably runs out of tricks pretty fast. They'll keep working on it though. It's probably based on existing AI toolkits. AI in general is progressing pretty fast. Who knows where it'll be in a decade.
It won't be like being with another person for a very long time, but it might be pretty good at emulating waifus at least.
