Are humans unrelenting murderers because we're smart? Or are we only as smart as an animal can be which isn't so smart as to truly ensure a great life for each other? Are we going to kill each other in a horrible cataclysmic event?

We only kill because we know that if we don't kill first, then the other guy is going to kill us.
And he's going to kill us because he thinks we're going to kill him.
We both know that if we talked about this and agreed to a peace, then the other guy would try to stab us in the back the second we turned around to go back home. So we'd both stab each other in the faces and die.
We probably do that because we're smart, yeah.
