ITT: what is your most /comfy/ game anons? how do you get /comfy/ when its raining outside?
I wish it rained more so I'd have an excuse not to go outside
>>36513535
I miss that game
eschalon book 1, 2 and 3
>book 1 is free
>>36513535
Viva Pinata
>>36513535
I wish there were some good UO servers
I played the fuck out of that game way more than wow and was awesome to really escape into another world
>>36515351
This is the kind of game I always say I want on forums and other vidya discussions, but when I actually sit down and play I get bored and quit.
>>36513535
>there will never be a very slow civilization game with population and politics simulation and a good combat system reliant on supply lines
>>36513535
Dragon's Dogmaand the originality ensues
>>36513975
3 annoyed me. 1, 2, 4 I played countless times but I finished 3 only a few times.
>>36513535
>playing civ
>ai is absolute garbage
>diplomacy options are a joke
>multiplayer sucks
When will a good Civ game come out?
>>36515541
You mean Victoria 3?
>>36515494
Cannot get over how much I love that game, hunting down and slaying that Griffin felt like a real adventure/quest and no other rpg has ever given me that feeling of epic scale
>>36513535
Elite Dangerous or Cities Skylines for me
I live for that comfy feeling, stardew valley was the most recent comfy game I've gotten lost in, but it just couldn't hold my attention, think I'm gonna go back to Towns
>>36515679
You probably already have, but look into terraria if you haven't. Really great game, great ost that pairs with its comfy atmosphere
Even better if you play with one or two friends
>>36515494
>be beginning of game, right after arriving in gran soren
>mercedes quest to escort her to some place
>go in entirely wrong direction
>end up hiking a mountain with several cyclops and chimeras and bandits
>lose my healer, fuck it, will just get another one when I arrive, no big deal
>main character and pawn are both around level 40 because i was fucking around exploring
>arrive in camp.
>wrong camp.no good pawns, nothing but wasted time
>try to hike back down mountain, impossible now without losing mercedes and failing
>end up quitting due to self embarassment and rage at being so stupid
Haven't felt that feel in a long time with a game, good shit. Just started up a new file since i'm irrevocably fucked on the other save. Hopefully i don't make the same mistake again.
>>36515638
>Cities Skylines
I can't make myself play that once I have to start optimizing traffic, and other stuff like that.
Basically I enjoy it while it is simple, and you draw on a map and watch your drawing come alive.
When it becomes a game it gets bothersome, I don't know why.
>>36515494
>tfw didn't understand their was a relationships feature theoughout the entire game
>get to the end and the dragon thinks Fournavil is my true love
>Tfw save him anyway and hen he molests my character in front of a campfire
Sims 3 gets me extra comfy on bad days. Not even trying to recreate how I wish my life went, but working to keep my character happy and advance in my career.
>>36515896
i get that, it takes a while to be able to optimize it. I mainly like it because once i get to like 60k people i just kinda sit there and imagine the lives of my citizens.
Age of Mythology
Heroes of Might and Magic 3
Civ 4
WoW (before it went to shit)
Those are my top, old games are comfier for some reason.
>>36516002
Maybe I'm a massive scrub, but I just find age of mythology way too hard on moderate, but then way too easy on easy, when I was younger I just played it on easy and I loved it though
Freelancer, it's the comfiest game ever made
Rise of Nations
>Assure that my nation is always on top by pillaging and raping my neighbor nations (but not eliminating them)
>Information Age
>Let neighbors build their cities and armies up
>Make 30 ICBMs
>Declare war on all of them and end the game in a beautiful nuclear Armageddon
My comfiest ever game was Lord of the Rings online. Just being a dwarf in the snowy mountains hunting and cutting down trees. Whipping out the lyre and playing at a campfire. Population was low enough that you could be completely alone in an area and every now and again just come across some random player doing his own thing.
>>36513535
Morrowind, in all its broken glory
Trackmania nations united. The comfiest part is making my own levels
>>36515486
Have you ever heard pf paradox games,
I know it not exactly civilization but their games pretty much cover what you asking for.
>>36513535
Strife by S2 (the MOBA) but it is dead now and no one plays it anymore. So I'm just miserable when I'm bored nowadays.
Tropico 4, very comfy.
>>36513535
Anno 1404
Super comfy
>>36513535
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for PC
or
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban for PC
>>36513535
The comfiest game I've played is minecraft. Chilling at your home after an expedition was great. Now the magic is long gone.
Stellaris. The ai isn't as retarded as hoi4, the music is great, and the visuals are stunning. You can make your own races so there's no limiting playstyles.
There's plenty to do, and most times i just spend hours exploring, upgrading planets, and researching stuff. Then I get raped by aggressive species.
Raven Shield, but only because I've beaten it so often that there isn't even any thought involved anymore. It's like doing breathing exercises.
>>36518224
I really feel you on that anon. I used to pour hours into that game back in 2011-2013, but everything about it has been completely ruined now. I long for that feeling I had back then ,but I don't think I'll ever have it again.
Feels bad.
>>36518266
Can you make cute waifus?
>>36517086
i always did that in Empire Earth, it was great and always fun
>>36518417
you can play as a race of alien waifus if you find the right mod
>>36518417
Probably. There's a set of different portrait thingys for a bunch of different subsets. Human, avian, fungus, mammal, ect.
Paradox being what it is. There's probably mods already out there for that, or you can make your own.
>>36513535
Pornhub ad games
>>36513535
CIV 5 with a mod that extens playtime. Currently at turn 500 or so and just got into rennaisance. I also enjoy good RPGs but it's always a huge burden for me to start games like Witcher, Elder Scrolls or Stalker.
Sadly it didn't rain much this year so far.
>>36513535
civ III was comfy as fuck desu
