the only experience i personally had with the goth kids was dating one of them, she ended up moving away from the goth crowd because of me. they hated me ever since and even years in our 20s later when i see them then still shout things at me for "stealing their friend"

no i dont, the goth/emo/scene crowd was a bunch of psychopaths

3 of them got kicked out for setting the school on fire which resulted in a computer lab going up in flames
ALL of the goth girtls were absolute no-nos to go near, they were not only hyper sexual to the point of being exhibitionists but they would also be so fucking deep in to the fetishistic shit that they would turn up in bondage gear and bras to collage and sixth form

the only group i got on with out of them was the rockers, yes most of them were drunks and enjoyed barfights but they were pretty cool and had a decent taste in music. the only strange thing they did was wear denim jackets with band patches on.
ended up becoming quite good friend with them and i still hang around with them now even after collage.

honestly though, the goth and emo crowd in my area were just bad news.

Slipknot is one of the only onlddr bands where I think their newest stuff is better than their original classics. Sure old Slipknot was catchy and had some great riffs and all, but I almost feel like they tried too hard with all the clown masks and stuff and became too infatuated with their own image. Their new album, the Grey Chapter, is a masterpiece. It's just so full of actual hatred and anger and sorrow over that member of their band dying, that it feels like one of the most real pieces of music I've ever heard. When I hear the lead singer sing in that album, I feel like he honestly hates the world and everyone in it. It's powerful.
