How many people here fucked up their brain development from using

Does weed really fuck up your brain development?
People only told me the opposite, that it actually helps your brain by syncing your emispheres better or something like that. It makes both your emispheres more active.

So is that true? Or it fucks up your brain?

It actually takes a lot, like at least .3 everyday. I know some people who smoked massive bowls like .5 at a time. It's worst any time before 17/18. After 20 probably barely makes a difference.

It now makes sense. I know quite a few people who did this and all of them suffer from OCD or anxiety.

I started smoking weed when I was 15 and still smoke it today (age 29)

I have a really successful career. No OCD, no anxiety, I have suffered from depression in the past but I think that's why I loved weed so much, rather than the weed causing it.

Yeah but I would say the most basic parts are done by then and its mostly fine tuning.

Also you have enough changes and fucked up shit to deal with as a teenager without adding that on top of it. Most people I know who smoked weed in HS are losers, people who started around college seem a bit better off.

not weed but I fried my brain with the synthetic stuff when I was about 13.
it gave me an episode of psychoses and many years of HPPD.
I've since mostly recovered from HPPD but I'm still a burnt out shell of a human.

Me too. I wish I had waited, and would classify myself as addicted, but I still make mortgage and vacation once a year.

I smoked with friends a little bit during my teen years, oddly enough I never actually felt "high" for real until I picked it up again at like 23 and smoked by myself. Getting high as a kid is a waste of weed IMO, you just get giggly and stupid. As an adult, I started to think about life.
