Near or already at the point where kissing, holding hands or just getting hugged feels as foreign an idea as walking on the moon or being a fighter jet pilot. It's an abstract thing that other people do now. Hurts less this way and when I constantly give up hope, it's easier on the soul in a way, since girls you meet are just random people to be forgotten.

Hey man i was the same until like 5 months ago.

Kissless virgin at 24. I was very lonly. Had no friends, no social life and no real social skills. Sat infront of my pc the whole day basicaly. Started Uni a year ago. Met a few people. Started hanging out with them and made friends. 6 months ago i met my now girlfriend. She was a friend of a friend. We started seeing each other regulary, started talking more and started hanging out. After like a month of knowing her and like 2 weeks of hanging out regulary i just went for it and kissed her.

Like a year ago i couldn't imagine there was any chance for me to start a relationship with a girl in the near future. I really thought i missed the chance and it was to late to make that first time experience. I always thought girls didn't really find me attractive. But thats mostly because i never had the guts to really talk to them.
Seriously, when first saw my now girlfriend, i thought she was way out of my league. I litterally whished i was hotter so i could maybe have a chance with her. I still sometimes can't believe she thinks im attractive. When your self image is so distorted from years of isolation and selfdoubt, its hard to correct. But im getting there. Getting affection from a person you find incredibly attractive helps a ton.

Anyway what im trying to say is, it can really happen faster than you think but you have to work a bit for it. It's cheesy as fuck but don't give up hope.
