I had heard about it before, but was still a normie fuck. It wasn't until all of my friends abandoned me and my girlfriend left me that I was left with crippling alcoholism and the world wide web. Eventually I came to hear about 4chan again and ever since, I've been coming here everyday since 2010. And yeah, it's made me more aware of people and their hangups, which just makes me hate them all the more.

I was 14. My 13 year old friend used to always send me funny pictures and cryptically-worded messages. I asked him wtf he was getting all this shit and he introduced me to /b/, 4chan's memes, and the art of keeping a /b/ folder.

That was 2004. It definitely changed me as a person to some extent, but I was already spending a lot of time on HL2 trolling forums (HL2world, then Flamehaus, then Gabe's Love Tub) so I wasn't exactly innocent before that.

Weirdly enough, accepting contrasting opinions to me and not being afraid to argue. I ended up pretty autistic and spergy about it in high school, but I've mellowed out and am pretty socially acceptable in conversation.

I found this forum as the result of Isla Vista killings of 2014, as it was being discussed here a lot. Lately, I have been hanging here a lot more than before, when I only came for the E-threads. I do not know why that is. Maybe it is because I do not have any other place anymore. I've been cast out from everywhere, or then the places I posted at lost their anonymity, or became intolerable for the sake of censorship. I know I should be here a lot less, to get other things done, but I got slightly addicted like I always get with discussion forums. I have no Facebook.
