Well, it certainly accounts for why I dislike other women generally, for being vapid and mean and often quite manipulative.

I had female friends at one stage, but the way they talked about their boyfriends was so cruel and calculating and blind and so lacking in self awareness, it pissed me off. I once sort of snapped at them that maybe they had a hand in some of the issues in their relationships as well and they kicked me out of the group in that unique girl group ostracism.

Like the differences between Fe and Te are really up front, but I can appreciate her functions.
Plus she's real cute!

For example, sometimes my Fe stresses out her Fi, so that's a bit unfortunate, but we have both grown as a result of being intimate with each other, so that is valuable. I actually had a father figure- my neighbour. He looked after me when my mum was off her face, gave me books to read, taught me about history and philosophy etc. He was a college history professor so he had a lot of interesting stuff in his apartment. He tried with my siblings as well, but they weren't interested- I pretended he was my dad when I was a kid, and he certainly treated me like his daughter. He just wasn't my actual dad. But he got cancer when I was 17 and was dead before I was 18.

I will seek employment again.

Fellow INTP, I actually love Nietzsche and Jung. Nietzsche because he captures how I feel in many instances and Jung because he provides a solution, or at least points you in a direction. Beyond that Jung constructed a way of looking at the world and people that works really well. Forcing yourself to view movies, for example, from a Jungian perspective is a great exercise. Everything becomes both more complex and very simple at the same time.

I don't know if its common for an INTP to be interested in topics like psychology, religion, and the occult but they are such interesting systems that have been constructed for understanding yourself, other people, and a persons place in the world.
