I've done this literally every day of my life for the past year without exception. Oh... Yeah I remember, losing ALL my bros at the end of highschool killed this urge to seek relationships, people becomes an annoyance afterwards because I associate that with the pain of the loss, so I am always killing conversations and keeping it shallow at all times. Finding out that relationships without sex (LDR) are actually a very boring experience does not help, the magic of wanting a gf disappeared for the most part since then.
These are the ways you can end it I guess, there is the risk of you becoming inert though, anhedonia is a constant here, at least.
