You gotta condition your body before you do any heavy lifting, man. My skinny ass had to do ~3 weeks of bodyweight conditioning before even starting with low weights.

I remember fucking up my back doing a deadlift. I had an arched back doing it because I don't know proper posture.

Start with your core, build some strength.
Simple excersises like pushups etc. before you start lifting seriously.

Also don't lift like a fucking idiot and you'll be fine.
