I had a similar childhood but I basically forced them to become nice normal people through sheer force of will alone

now I love them and they're nice to me somehow even though I don't have any friends really

I used to live on a very verbally abusive family, my oldest brother was a huge piece of shit and my parents always made fun of me because of my weight.

Thank god i don't live with them anymore, it affected me so much...

They're not a problem for me anymore. I had a very poor childhood and went through a lot. It's nice not thinking of them, but the effects my childhood had on me never went away.

I was homeschooled so I grew up isolated

I hate them for doing that to me especially since im academically behind people my age cause my parents never bothered to teach
