>that one high school memory pops into your head again
Oh god I hate that shit

>When you repress it but it starts haunting you in your dreams instead.

>that one friend from your old highschool you desperately miss
poor trevon
Just thought of one earlier today, OP. Although it was as a Freshman in college, it still causes the same feels.
>In a dorm room with maybe 4-5 people, practicing participating in social situations
>The guy who lives in the dorm is playing music
>Start talking to him briefly about music
>Don't have much knowledge on the subject, really only listen to classical music when I'm studying
>Tell him I listen to "metal" bands like Bullet for my Valentine and As I Lay Dying because I thought those were considered acceptable music choices
>He visibly flinches (probably cringing) at what I said, but still tries to keep the convo going because he was nice
>realize I made a social faux-pas and attempt to rectify it
>"y-yeah, b-but I only listen to it for the lyrics. hahaha I don't even listen to the instruments when they play them!"
>Realize how fucking ridiculous that sounds
>Want to cry, just want to go home
>tell him im hungry and quickly leave the room
>never spoke to him or anyone who was there again
I think about that at least once a week.

jesus christ anon, if you say metal atleast say bands that are metal...
>>36049343
I thought they were metal. Like I said, I don't know very much about music.
The guy who usually rode next to me on the bus during junior year of high school listened to a lot of those bands and I tried to copy him and get into it too. I never wound up exploring very many bands but I did remember a lot of their names.
What type of music would those bands be described as?

screamo emo garbage marketed for 14 year olds or something i guess, i dont listen to either of those bands.
>cafeteria always full
>rejected form every social group in scool
>didn't want people to know I was a loner
>teachers wouldn't let us eat lunch in the classroom
>tok my lunch to the toilet and ate it there
>found a new place to eat lunch, under the stairs in the basement
>there was cardboard boxes and old workwear there I could sit on while I played games on my phone
>chad cousin started same school next year
>would be a bro and join me under the basement stairs
>we made comfy chairs out of cardboard boxes and clothes
>he eventually got friends and stopped being with me
>back to eating lunch alone under the stairs in my comfy cardboard chair
>>36047635
>kids dangerously putting a plastic bag over my head and get away with it
>everyone avoiding talking to me because i was such a huge autist
MAKE IT STOP!!
REEEEEEEEEEEEE
>tfw I remember the time I ran away from the principal while skipping class and didn't get caught
>>36047635
>getting pantsed on a cold day, laughing girls
>Annoying kid walking behind me keeps trying to trip me while we're walking to the bus stop
>Get tired of it, lag behind
>Trip him just once so he gets a taste of his own medicine
>He falls towards the street and he hits the side of a car, a second earlier and he'd have been run over
>Car driver gets out and yells at me, everyone looking and start crying because I almost killed/injured someone and now people are screaming at me
>No one talks about it ever again
>>36047635
>Implying the memory is bad
Only good memories my friend.
>said "hi" to the guy i thought I knew but he just looked similar to someone else
Please...
>>36049426
Well, yes, but give the guy a pass. I listen to rock, metal, deathcore, and emo music is basically just rock and metal, maybe punk
>>36049951
This was the worst. For PE class we had to wear like these loose ass tracksuit bottoms it was a nightmare.
