I'd really rather not until it's fully grown in. It's still patchy but nowhere near as bad as it used to be. It'd always be so sparse on one of my cheeks but now it has mostly filled in with baby hairs, just waiting on them to thicken up now. My fiance always comments when new hairs come in.

I also have hairs connecting my cheek to my mustache which I never had. Apparently it takes until the end of the third or fourth month to have a proper beard and you have to keep taking it to make the hairs terminal. I've shaved while using it and it doesn't seem to have caused any slow down in growth.

I'd recommend it 10/10 to any dude who has always wanted a beard. It's a bit of work because it's twice daily applications but it doesn't take long to apply and it seems like nothing because it seems like the dream is becoming real

I don't think so. I started minoxidil at 26. There's a post from me further up describing my experiences. Was actually just applying it for the second time today. My left cheek used to have the most hair and my right cheek was sparse. Some hairs have come in fully but most are small little baby hairs. The ones that have come in fully look exactly like my other hairs so I'd say the quality is just the same. All minoxidil does is stimulate hair growth of follicles which are already there. It doesn't create hair. This is why it doesn't work on baldlets if they've been bald for too long. Their follicle is gone.

I have a progressing better Che Guevara type of beard, started growing it from 18, never shaved it. I still cut it so it doesn't get too long, but my face has never met a razor blade. At around my mid 19 something happened with me, I wasn't skelly per say but I at 5'9" I weighed 57 kilos. I've had a huge beard for several years now. One of the best decisions of my life. I used to look like shit without it, because of a weak jaw, now everything is better, even interactions with women. Beardlets can talk shit all they want, and obviously not all women like beards, but a huge percent of them do. Now I get a ton of attention from women, and men see you differently as well.
