>>24074453 >save money >buy house near a lake in upstate new york >get a subaru wrx for the snow >buy the most expensive telescope i can afford >get a kayak >go kayaking and star gaze everyday >no women to taunt me and degrade me >no normies to make fun of me because i can't get women >just living life making experiments and rowing all over a lake and exploring and hiking until i die
>>24074453 Just saving my dollars to be able to afford said cabin inna woods with a few acres of land around it to be able to set up a 250yd range and woodshop without bugging anyone. I don't think I would want to permanently live there, but I could see it being a nice place to take a break from the city life for a month here and there.
>>24076138 This is my problem too. I have plans and ideas for a small house, a piece of land, how I would use it and how I would fill my time. But the more research I do the more it seems like just an expensive dream. It doesn't even have to be innawoods as long as I can keep to myself with a decently sized yard.
I really can't handle city life, that's for sure. Fuck western Yurop, there's just not enough space to go innawoods, let alone owning a bit of.
>>24077663 My problem isn't survival, really, I have quite a few ideas how to get around. My biggest problem is the cost of the initial investment, the land and building materials and then I really fear building permits too. Living off-grid isn't as popular here as it is in America. >>24077684 Dude, I live in a country where every square centimeter is mapped and owned by someone, coupled with high population density, it's really not worth the risk in my opinion.
>>24077714 That's pretty much what I expected. Also I live in a country with pretty high population density. Lots of rather small settlements(villages) with under 1k inhabitants. Basically in most of the places you can't walk 5 miles without running into a village. So saddly just making a robot-cabin without no one noticing is out of the question.
>>24077751 Well there's lots of intricacies with the law here. First of all if you want to live permanently in a spot, you're going to need a mailing address and that address is going to be tied to a living space, a house for example. That house has to abide to the building codes and laws so it will have to be a certain size and quality. Campers are immediately out of the question, any DIY house will have problems when it comes to that.
Anyway, I'm not too sure I'm still reading up on it, it's quite complicated. And god damn land is expensive, not to mention that you aren't even allowed on every bit of land that you own. I'm kinda losing hope though, the bureaucracy here is too awful. Maybe I should just move to America or Canada.
>>24074453 >mom bugging me about future >"I will live by you till you are alive, then buy 2 or 3 flats from inharitance and rent them, while I move to small house in middle of nowhere" >mommy is dissapointed
