a month and a half ago someone posted a "your roll is how many pushups you have to do" thread
I could do 3. felt real bad so I decided it was time to do finally something about it.
with the encouragement of this board I just finished 50 pushups with 15 of them in one single go. thanks for the support everyone, you can do it too!

I miss being able to do 100 push-ups in a row...
I can't even support my body weight enough to do the start of a pushup. Wew lad.
>>24054766
Now just do it every day. i believe in you anon.
>>24054808
Do incline pushups until you can do real pushups, this is what most people recommend anyway. you don't want to force yourself to do pushups if its painful, you'll practice bad form to achieve it and fuck up your shoulders

>15 of them in one single go
lmao how do you do that little pushups in a month in a half
>>24054804
I know how you feel bud
>>24054827
you have to take days off to recover. but I have been keeping pace.
i remembered this 100 push up thing from a decade ago and have been following it with 1 or 2 days off in between http://www.hundredpushups.com/

Man fuck 100 push ups. and i consider myself pretty fit.
As long as you are doing something that makes you feel better and happy man.
>>24054868
>you have to take days off to recover
Not if you're only doing 50 pushups spread out through the day, that's not much physical activity
>>24054840
bad bait. i started from 3 in a row and barely managed the lowest tier "week 1 day 1" which is 2-3-2-2-3 = 12
10-12-9-9-13 just a month later (I lied, I checked the logger and it was actually exactly 6.10 that I started) feels pretty damn good desu
>>24054893
spread out about ~20 minutes but yes, you do. a body that isn't used to physical activity needs time to recover. nothing is more stupid than overworking and injuring yourself.
>>24054887
i know but i like progressing through it and seeing my progress. it makes me happy
>>24054901
Not even bait
Back in March I could only do like 10 pushups consecutively and two months later later I got up to the low 50s by doing them everyday
>tfw can't even do 2
lel,
today I did
2x42
2x35
2x34
2x30
1x100
as my workout
still 26yo virgin
Joke's on you, I weigh near 100 pounds so any exercise involving lifting my body weight is unreasonably easy for me.
>>24054968
so the /fit/ meme doesnt work
good to know
Eh, things like push-ups and sit-ups etc have never really been hard for me.
Can't walk down the street without getting a stitch, though.
>>24054968
this thread is not for you
>>24054978
I'm about 120kg+ so...

Good job, mister. Keep it up and you'll be in shape in no time!
