What do you owe society?
>>24048692
That looks comfy as fuck.
And I owe society nothing. I didnt ask to be here.
Absolutely nothing, a pair of normies decided to pull my will from the aether and force it into a pathetic fleshy mass.
I could be conversing with fourth-dimensional reptilians right now, but no.

Is there a collection of all these comics somewhere?
Pain.
Just returning the favour.
Society can suck my dick
You wouldn't even have food or shelter without society.
>>24048853
You're talking to various economic and technological benefits of individuals acting in their own self-interest.
OP is talking about the moral concept of society.
>>24048853
neither are we allowed gf
in a world without society all NEETs would have gf
Not a damn thing.

I never consented to being born. The only reason I exist is because my parents decided they needed something to keep themselves busy for two decades. Therefore, I defer responsibility for my entire existence onto them. I am an effect, not a cause, I am a genetic liability, not a genetic investment. I will have no children of my own, and I will not take care of my parents in old age, they will be forced to take care of me as long as they live.
We are the product of the previous generation's egotistical wish to nurture. And when I turn 18 I'm suddenly supposed to be "independent" or "responsible", according to some arbitrary societal construct that is. Cared for when cute and small, thrown aside the moment my voice drops and my facial hair grows out, forced to slave away for another 50 years only to regain my freedom when I'm old and broken.
I say no to that, I will leech off my parents and state until either I die or they die, or the state itself collapses.
Take the frog pill.
Conveniences like easily accessible nourishment and technology. An education.
As a concept, nothing. I did not ask to be born, so I am not obligated to pay for my existence. However, it is in my best interest to at least attempt to maintain the status quo so that I can continue to reap the benefits.

Do you have to get your own food?
>>24048692
A purge
Society? Nothing.
I owe my parents though. They've pretty much paid for all my college at this point, offing myself would make it all a loss. Sometimes it feels like the only thing stopping me from doing it.

You've benefited by gaining security basically. Things like firefighters and road maintenance are nice as well, as well as enforced standards for things like clean water and junk.
That said I don't think anybody really owes society much other than to just generally act as a responsible citizen and to not fuck up other people's shit.
Nothing.
I never consented to any of this.
>>24049044
Yes
(You) have been muted for 16 seconds beacause your are comment are not orginal
No really. What do you really owe them?
>>24048692
Nuclear annihilation, nothing more.
jack shit
>>24048692
Nothing. The concept of 'owing" is silly anyways. Just because someone does something for you, you have to do something for them? That's easily exploitable; someone could keep doing things for you and you'd be obligated to do things for them in some sort of social convention slavery.
>>24050029
You are right. In many of the peaceful tribal societies of this planet showing gratitude for gifts is frowned upon for this very reason.

I don't really have a foundation to proceed from in answering this question. On one hand I really owe everything to society, I wouldn't exist how I am without it, but on the other hand I never asked to be here.
I don't know. I don't think it's a meaningful line of questioning.
>>24048692
>live on gibs
>think he owe nothing to society
>>24048692
I don't understand the question.
>>24048692
Owe society? I owe it to myself to fix this shitty piece of shit I call my society. Improving everything else for the betterment of myself, and those people I enjoy and like. I'm not a faggot, like most of you.

>>24050029
You just described normietude.
>>24048692
>pay your taxes
>work so you can live
>you can be drafted at any time
>you have to follow all these laws, even the stupid ones that make no sense
OK, so can I have a job that isn't unskilled manual labour?
>Society doesn't owe you anything!
>>24048692
My life. I should have died as a child, but some scientists came up with a regiment to prevent a certain disease from being spread from mother to child. I may or may not have increased cancer risk, but it is a small price to pay.
It's a debt I can't ever repay. At the very least, I'd like to contribute a positive thing back to society.
>>24051149
I guess I kinda agree with this guy.
I don't feel like I should even contribute to society because I disagree with so many points and I feel so disconnected from it and it punishes me when I don't fit in exactly like they want me to.
I'm trying to just live for myself, no matter how selfish that sounds.
