Been thinking about doing the same.

-If you live with your parents, pack your bags in private so that they don't get suspicious. Save up enough money.

-Basics first. Canned/storeable food fo at least three days, toothbrush and enough money to buy food when the canned stuff runs out. If warm climate, you can get a sleeping bag and hike around. If not, be prepared to ask to sleep in a few garages

-Travel by bike if possible. Easy and cheap. Public transport is also an option. If you have your own car, that would be the best, but you have to keep it close somehow, and parking isnt always free.

-Consider if your country is safe enough to travel alone in. If you dont want to be traced, be sure to throw away your phone and only pay in cash.

You gotta luck out and either find a company that does transfers, join the military, or go get some money and try and just take a bus to somewhere bigger and grind to start a new life.

But, the easiest option I've found is to be a truck driver. It pays well, you don't have to pay rent (you basically live in the truck), you can take the job anywhere. Do that for a year, save money, move and go to trade school in whatever state you'd like.

Can't find a job in that field? Go back into trucking, but get a regional job.

However, this job is boring as fuck and sucks ass. But you can make it work if you need to get out of a small town.
