You should read Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. It's one of my favorites, also "The Chemist" by Paulo is another great one that'll raise your spirits (I recommend this one even more because it's an actual story, also it's a pretty short book but really nice).

What makes you think we rely on people with emotional problems? There are 2 billion Christians in the world, and counting, who all believe that Christ died for their sins; do you really think that they're all in a bad emotional state? Also, a lot of converts actually convert no only for emotional reason but also studying the biblical texts.

No, I'm not. I don't believe humans can even make other humans convert; only God can do that. All I'm doing is informing people about the belief and letting them choose whether or not to accept. I was commanded by christ to spread the gospel and that is what I am doing.
