Hello and welcome to magiquest! The quest for magic begins. We will be using dice rolls with d13. Rolling a 10 will have that action happen. Rolling a 13 will have TERRIBLY UNLUCKY CONSEQUENCES...
You wake up in your bed. It's a cool spring morning, the sun creeps past your window blinds cuts your bed in half with a somber white glow.
You sit up and shake your head. Waking up is hard, today being no different.
But today is DIFFERENT. Beyond your wildest and most absurd dreams, you recently discovered that MAGIC is actually real.
This is excitedly terrifying and terrifyingly exiting! You must set out soon to discover more of this unknown part of the world!
But first:
>WHO ARE YOU? WHAT IS YOUR NAME?

Your life as a young girl living in a city that never sleeps is about to start. This isn't going to be a simple slice of life story, heartbreak and despair may very well be in your future, and you may find it spiraling out of control.
But, before we begin, what is our loli/MC's name?

"Ahhh..." Brooke let out a sigh of relief as she finally did away with another one of her now former teammates. She had had enough of their bullshit during the whole season of filming for E! and wanted to put an end once and for all the drama between the mess of them and now they laid on the ground at her feet, half the squad, only the ones who wanted to fight. But it wasn't enough, having felt the blood-lust of finishing someone off she wanted more as she smiled with pride and not just for an audience anymore, looking to the entrance of the cage as she shouted, "Who's next?!"

Wow, it's dark in here. You don't remember how you got into this place, but it's cramped, loud, and smells like someone who hasn't used the washracks since the day they were forged. Your altmode kibble is squished into your spinal strut and your legs are curled up on top of you. You feel around, and touch walls on all sides.
Your head hurts too. Come to think of it, what's your name?
>>38381
"Autobots Assemble" shall be your name.
>>38381
arcee
>>38390
Okay, so your name is Autobots Assemble. Your manufacturer must have had a weird sense of humor.
>>38406
The name Arcee sounds good to your ears though, and you may want to use it as a nickname. Autobots Assemble is a mouthful. You have a feeling you might be infringing on someone else's name, but screw it. You're having a hard time right now.
You need to get back on your... wheels? Wings? Paws?
What exactly do you turn into anyway?
The old OP has died. I am taking over.
Rules:
No autism
You get 6 territories and 25 points for the stats chart.
To claim a country:
-Save in .png
-Edit from the previous anon
-Don't zoom in and crop a certain part
You may only roll once per turn
When a player gets defeated, tech and land are split by this formula :
1v1s :
1/2 of tech and land
Team battles:
Number of players who attacked / Number of players who were attacked
When fighting, roll a 1d4. The higher roll cancels out the smaller on in a 1v1, but in a multi-way conflict with 3 or more players all rolls from the team are added up and compared against the opposing team.
The higher your Technology / Magic / Military bars are, the most likely you are going to be successful in defending / attacking.
1-4 bars : Roll 1d4
5-7 bars : Roll 2d4
8-10 bars : Roll 3d4
You can only roll for one combat stat per turn. All rolls are added up per turn.
When trading, roll a 1d20
Roll 1 : Your trade vessels are destroyed and the goods have been stolen.
Roll 2-4 : Trade went well, but some goods were lost in the process.
Roll 5-6 : Trade went without a hitch. Nothing lost.
When colonizing / expanding, roll a 1d6
Anything below 4 is an automatic failure. You can keep trying to roll for several turns if that's what you want. This is my first time doing this kind of shit so please be gentle to me
>>38220
Stats in this post. Remember, you only get 25 points for allocation. If you want to write a backstory, do so in the comment box.
>>38220
Oops. You may roll once for any action you are taking this turn - so if you are attacking and trading, you may roll once for both
May I suggest a rouge "AI" player that runs its own agenda. Those are always fun in these threads.

This should do! =w=
(I said I'd do it on Wednesday, but I figured I'd be doing more on finals week, turns out I've got a dirge of free time and am unable to contain my urge to QM thus early showings)
You roll your shoulders looking forwards at the one of the hill fortresses of Lacus, off to either your North West or your South East, you can see two of the lakes that act as the life blood of this nations trade. You nod to yourself pushing forwards and bring your men with you as you need to inform the Emperor and the others in this city of the nearby Dragon.
Your fast pace being uncomfortable for the deserter on the back of you horse, but frankly you could care less about his complaints. Ignoring that your sight returns to this massive city, you've never seen a city so large before, and that's saying something, having been born and raised in one of the major cities, this one must be at least six or seven times bigger than your own home and the other major cities. You finally come up to the first set of walls proper that'll lead you to the South-West Docks and civilian quarters, and they're massive, you begin wonder what could have ever spurred the necessity of such layered defenses, A Dragon? An undead army? No matter what you think of it just doesn't quite fit, these redundent systems all over the walls still seem extraordinarily excessive... an army of Dragons? Maybe.
However that train of though is interrupted as you pass through the gates, looking into the docking area and which the east of you is a varitable sea of housing and your right is lined with warehouses and, by the gods that's a lot of boats, do they store the entire fleet in these docks?
You take a moment to stop just absorbed by the enormity of the city before shaking your head, you really need to get moving.
What do you do?
>Get your ass to the Emperor to inform him about the Dragon
>Explore a bit, the city is basically an impenterable fortress, thus the Dragon can wait.
>Explore in the direction of the Imperial Palace

You wake up in a dimly lit room wearing simple clothes (69 decides what your shirt says) To your left is a table with a shoe and a kitchen knife. To your right, a door with a caged window in the middle. You can hear voices coming from behind the door, but you cant hear what they're saying. Dubs decides what you do next.

Knighting
Sometimes, purpose is enough.
Old iron flesh twitches under the moon, filled with ancient bones and dusty remains of the one who bore it. It rattles like dice as it rises. The iron groans, rust of ages flaking off as untested joints scrape against one another and the wear and tear of time tests the mettle of this metal.
A sword is lifted, and though half of the blade is broken away, it still holds a cracked, pitted edge. A shield is hefted, though worn and scarred, it still has some use left. The old armor looks over itself, a hole in its chest the size of its palm - on the front and the back. The skeleton inside,, held in place by strapping and padding, is obliterated within.
Superior firepower. Some kind of betrayal. A warning of less than an eyeblink. And then it was over. An old shame, a fearful worry. Was that all it took?
That's not what matters now.
But... What does?
>This armor must find the home of the bones within, and lay them to rest.
>This armor must find the one who ended the life of its owner, and destroy them.
>This armor must find the glory its owner never knew.
>This armor does not care about the past - it seeks a new future, alone.

seek new future alone
>>44983
There is a whisper in your mind - the brass horns of the charge, and the chaos that followed. Bravery that flared like the sun, but was extinguished too soon.

You creep quietly through the tomb, barely breathing. The dust of years lays thickly onto rough stone, and along the wall, old torch-mounts have mostly rusted away. You step as lightly as you can, but every step feels like a mistake, and a betrayal. Shouldering your bag, you glance behind you - the darkness before you yawns wide, eager to consume you. You pause in fear, your candle flickering faintly in your hand.
You are not supposed to be here, you think.
"I know," you whisper aloud, in reply, and steel your resolve. You hold a hand carefully in front of the candleflame, and continue forwards - more quickly now. Statues of ancient men and women pass you on either side, with arms outstretched in warning. You ignore them, and walk faster. Behind you, the shadows seem to slither and wriggle forwards, hungrily spilling over the cobblestones.
Finally, a great archway lies beyond you - and you know your prize lies within. You can't help but stop and gaze upon the entrance of the burial chamber for a moment, savoring the moment. And in the gloom, you can barely make out the stone sarcophagus that lies beyond.
Who was buried here, long ago?
>An ancient boy-king who doomed his nation, and was buried alive in punishment.
>An exile and a sorcerer who famously traveled around the world, and some say further.
>A cursed priest, who defeated great plagues - and then released his own.
