I'm not very good at writing or drawing, so I decided to start a quest (based on the korean webcomic "The Gamer") for practice. This is a continuation of that.

Character Sheet : http://pastebin.com/U4A4eYPH

Previous Thread : >>254639

>You've got 8 hours to spend this Monday evening before you should go to bed and 20 days of protection from the Abyss

>After not really understanding the benefits of the Guild system over the Party system, you decide to spend some time grinding against goblins in an Instant Dungeon.

>Between Spinning Mana Arrow, flight, and stuffing items into your extra-dimensional inventory, you are massacring these goblins at an unprecedented rate, about a goblin every two seconds. You keep this up for an hour, at which point you hear a loud battlecry. Behind you, a boss monster has spawned, a Goblin Warchief. You examine it to get its stats.

How do you proceed?

>>
>You do the obvious thing and fly upwards out of its reach. You make sure to give it a good amount of space, because your attack range is pretty far and you don't want to find out the dead way that this guy can jump.
>And jump he does, much higher than you would have expected given his size, but it's still not nearly enough to get to you
>Until he hurls his axe at you
>You dodge to the side, the axe goes sailing off into the distance.
>The Warchief now has nothing to even potentially hurt you with. You take potshots at him until he dies. Where he stood now stands a pile of loot. You're a little surprised, you've never gotten multiple drops from a single monster before. So this is the power of boss monsters. Neat

>You obtain 5 health potions worth about $10,000 each, $40,000 in cash, and his axe
> Observing the axe, you find it to be enchanted (Axe Mastery +10) and has absurdly high base damage (160) but requires 16 strength to wield. You happen to know a weapon with an enchantment this strong could be sold for $500,000

>What do you do for your remaining 7 hours?

(Rules Pastebin: http://pastebin.com/P3RXYaV2)

READ THE RULES BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS. OLD MEMBERS READ ASWELL, THEY HAVE BEEN UPDATED SOMEWHAT.

NEXT TURN

In and around the Summerset isles, there is still expansion by the Guards Guild. The people seek far and wide to establish trading colonies. One such colony is established on Valenwood, in hopes of finding the type of wood that has been growing ever popular amongst the Children of Yokuda. Alas, it seems the populace have allready cut down all woods of that type. Nevertheless however, the colony establishes itself successfully. The Khajiit colony on the eastern island that was established years ago, however, is causing a bit of a stir. The colony has entered into a feud with the Alikr, and claims to embargo them. This is obviously not what the Guild wants, and the situation has to be solved until a crisis can arise. (-2t until solved for Guards and Alikr.)

The Naga and Junta are deadlocked in fighting, and have not seen any advancements made on either side for a good while. Some say the soldiers do not wish to fight at all.

In Morrowind, the new city of Ropheric is finally blossoming in its true dwemer-architecture style. It is truly a pearl of the world, one that people travel from far and wide to behold. Altough not constructed for trade OR military purposes, the town draws plenty of tourists, and gives a boost to the local agriculture. (+7t for town). The Protectorate has also sent forces to Solstheim. Solstheim, however, is allready contested by the Children of Yokuda, who seem eager to get the populace on their side. The Skaal do not mind the Protectorates forces too much, as they allready know some of them from fishing and trade on the northern side of Morrowind. The island is split in two, for now, and is the hot topic on everyones mind in Tamriel.

In Cyrodiil, the frontier remains quiet for a while. The Second Empire sends two adventurers out through the land to scour for hidden ruins and treasures. One of them gets caught up with a tavern wench, who ends up slitting his throat and running away with his money. The other adventurer, however, tells of a large hidden cave somewhere near the border with the Jarl of Falkreath. He says the locals tell tales of kings of old who were buried there. He requests some legionnary forces to go with him, as it would be far too much of a dangerous job for himself.

In Valenwood, some minor agricultural expansion is held, but nothing of noteworthy status. What is of noteworthy status, however, is that of the rumors of a juggling bear who is touring around the countryside of the adepts of Valenwood. Some say, that is is just an unusually hairy man.

Okay don't care that much about solstheim, let it be split, I will just sail to the south-eastern coast of morrowind and make a colony there, I hope the redguards will enjoy the warmer climate ;)

Oh Look I'm getting fucked again with minimal expansion.

Attempt diplomacy with the Khajit and if they don't listen to reason they face Capital punishment, they're literally refugees here and their presence is miniscular I really don't need this shit straight after the Daedra.

I need to expand and claim the Isles already, push forward. 100% expansion eastwards onto the isles.

The interior of your stormraven is filled with an eerie silence; not a word has been uttered by your battle-brothers since your departure from the watch fortress. While this isn't your first time serving in the Deathwatch, you're determined to make sure this isn't your last.
You have been tasked with boarding an ancient and massive space hulk, known as the "Ultrix Imperator," with the intention of exterminating the foul genestealers that reside in it. However, this is far more than just a simple "kill the xenos" mission. The Inquisition has shown a peculiar interest in an ancient artifact termed as the "Inge Consumptis," which has been reported to be on the space hulk. It bears a rather inconspicuous description: a small human skull, gold on the left and completely black on the right. Why the Inquisiton is interested in it's recovery is unknown, but due to their secretive attitude, you doubt you'll get an explanation any time soon.

Your kill-team has five members including you.

Brother Lo'van of the Salamanders. He has deployed in terminator armor, along with a heavy flamer and a power fist.

Brother Elecarius of the Imperial Fists. He is a devastator marine, and has deployed with a heavy bolter.

Brother Barrattiel of the Ultramarines. He is an apothecary equipped with his narthecium and a plasma pistol.

Brother Alis Irae of the Blood Angels. He is a librarian, and has deployed with a force sword and a bolt pistol. He has multiple psychic abilities. (Listed below)

>Smite - Alis Irae shoots bolts of lethal red lightning from his fingertips that tear apart the enemies in range.

>Shield of Sanguinius - Alis Irae summons a golden barrier around him and his nearby allies that protect them from harm.

>Veil of Time - Alis Irae steps out of the phase of time, and witnesses many nearby futures. With this, Alis Irae is able to predict the behavior of his enemies and change the course of the future.

>The Blood Lance - Alis Irae summons a gore-splattered lance and hurls it into the enemy forces, skewering everything unfortunate enough to be in it's path.

Before we begin, what is your name, your chapter, and your wargear?

You are Brother Thorim of the Space Wolves chapter. You are clad in terminator armour and you dual wield power claws. Indeed, you are force to be reckoned with, and with your terminator armor, you are able to withstand much punishment. However, in order to be effective, you will have to get close to the enemy.
Suddenly, the vox channel becomes active, and the silence is broken.
"We are approaching the space hulk," are the words you hear.
It does not take long for the rest of the kill-team to react. Immediately, they begin to prepare their equipment, loading their weapons and checking their magazines. Brother Elecarius loads his bolter and adjusts his helmet. He turns to face Lo'van.
"You will be taking point, yes?" he asks him.
Lo'van nods. "Correct, as long as there are no objections," he then looks back to face you. "And it would make sense for Brother Thorim to take point with me as well, as long as he agrees, of course."

>How do you reply?

Secondary weapon - Flint lock
Power - Can jump really high and absorb the shock of landing.

Riggaletto Bink arrives at the gates of camp Mayfell, a secluded refuge for serfs and peasants that was practically in the middle of no where within an overgrown forest. Two men stand at the makeshift gate bearing armor and weapons that clearly had prior belonged to someone who is no longer alive judging by the poor fitting.

You were informed to wait here for a job you'd taken up from some noble from the imperial city of Cai'fenn Zayle. The details were scarce, but you knew you were waiting for three others to arrive within the hour.

(Waiting for your next three party members)

Secondary Weapon: A multitool forgehammer.
Power: Mechanical conjuration - create inorganic parts, components, machines and gadgets from nothing. The bigger, more complex or rare the material of the object is, the longer the conjuring process will take to complete.

Hey fuckers this board has too many civs, evos, and generally not hand-drawn threads. Point is, I'm bored, need shit to draw, and am currently watching The Batman, so I feel like making a super hero with you awful, awful people.

So! First things are first, we need powers, a name, a color scheme, a symbol, a hometown, a backstory. Let's go with powers. They should always go with a theme, but for now let's see what powers you're interested in. Let's go action-oriented, psychic powers are just so boring.

You're a a coalition of parties who have recently assumed control in the Weimar republic. Your job is to hold on to power before a dangerous party, led by Adolf Hitler, manages to seize it.

You have just made friends with Romania, which is great, seeing how all the large nations hate you. You´ve also signed a non-aggression pact with the Czechs.

Our forces and the Crusaders reach Thessaloniki in the West, overwhelming the defending Turks in short time.

Meanwhile in the East , the Mohawk Commander has successfully lead our Holy warriors to victory , capturing Adana and Tarsus. Under his command, our forces are now on their way to Hattusa, which the Turks renamed to Ankara and made their Capital.

After such overwhelming defeats, the Turks withdrew entirely from Hellas and fortified in Byzantium, while also concentrating their forces in Anatolia, in Ankara , calling for aid from all Muslim Kingdoms nearby, to defend against our Great Army.

Though neither Byzantium nor Ankara would ever face battle against us.

An illness has befallen the Turks and the Crusaders alike, though not us strangely.
From what we could gather they suffer from the same illness , a kind of fever, one that we've seen before.
Splenic Fever.

It appears that much like the Spaniards did 10 years ago, we too have brought a disease with us that is unknown in this world.

The Fever is spreading rapidly among Turks and Crusaders and reports have it, that some people in Italy seem to have been befallen by it already.

Our disease is spreading like a wildfire, we know how to treat it and increase the chances of survival, but the old-world Barbarians don't.

As they aren't people however, we care little and the garrisons we left behind in the cities we conquered, treat our population only, and leave barbarians to die.

As our forces reach Ankara and Byzantium, both cities are already devoid of life.
With little to no resistance anywhere, we expel the surviving Turks from Hatti and Lydia and chase them back where they came from.

The Turks take our disease with them back into east, infecting whomever they meet.

The Christian and Islamic world are facing collapse, as they had never seen a plague of such magnitude before. Many see it as the end of the world, and sure enough, it is the end of their world and the dawn of ours.

We don't know how far splenic fever will spread, but we hardly care at all.

Our borders in the old world are slowly manifesting themselves, while our troops are still off to reconquer Hatti and Lydia, trying to rescue whoever is still alive.

What will we do next?

well as you can tell, they're all dying off anthrax
it's a matter of a few years before the old world is essentially dead, in the same fashion the new world died off the plague IRL

Last time, you found out about a death at the Clock Tower, made acquaintances with an Atlas Alchemist detective, nearly got thrown into the dungeon, and decided to visit everyone's favorite, Waver Velvet for info. Let's get back in the game.

===

Info Doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mKfXYYoB2QlYCUsIUyCKR6aq0oa8JfqA4xgH6kVo43M/pub

===

You've stood poised outside of the office of Lord El-Melloi II for a short time now, trying to eavesdrop; evidently the parties inside hadn't thought to establish a small Bounded Field to keep sound from leaking out.

The strangely familiar female voice seems to be enjoying herself; you can practically envision the mischievous grin that each overly-saccharine word drips from.

"Your beloved little sister is just trying to look out for you~."

However, you haven't managed to catch much of the conversation being had. They seem to be dealing in vague generalities, as if they're conscious of the horde of students outside of the office. Thinking about it like that, they almost certainly are. Regardless, you reach out to the door and rap on it with your knuckles, calling out sharply. "Lord El-Melloi II, I'm here on official Clock Tower business to speak with you about the death of Frederick Mill."

The conversation inside the office grinds to a halt, a few seconds of silence passing before the door cracks open slightly. The crowd of students freeze, some looking to you with shock and some with blatant confusion. This bluff really is useful...well, except for when it nearly got you tossed in the dungeon.

The door opens a bit more, allowing you entry. You step inside, and immediately after doing so, the door slams shut behind you. Standing before you are two figures, the Lord El-Melloi II himself, and...

...oh. It's that blonde girl from earlier. Now you remember why her face was familiar. Reines El-Melloi Archisorte, the Archibald family head, and step-sister to Lord El-Melloi II.

[] Greet the other two and state why you're here.
[] Gasp and point at Reines in shock like it's an anime.
[] Ask Reines to leave; you need to interview the Professor in private.

Or even if QM still lives or if QM deded from no response.
>>

Nah, I'll be around for a good few hours, since I start work late on Mondays. Hopefully we'll get some more people, though.

===

You greet both Lord El-Melloi II and Reines, trying to sound as courteous as possible, before explaining that you're here as part of the ongoing investigation, a detective hired by the Clock Tower. However, in response to this claim...

A teasing smile appeared on the face of the gold-haired girl, a soft laugh leaving her. "A detective? Then why, pray tell, were you sneaking around Frederick's office when I asked you to stand guard in my place not too long ago?"

...ah, right, you'd forgotten that the only reason you had snuck inside Mill's office earlier was because Reines had told you to stand guard outside, and you'd snuck in once she had walked off. In hindsight, maybe relying on that lie wasn't the best move here.

[] Keep up the bluff, try to overpower Reines with your confidence.
[] Admit you're not a detective, but you still are trying to help with the investigation.
[] Magic missile Reines.
>>

>[] Keep up the bluff, try to overpower Reines with your confidence.
Looking over the actual interaction with her earlier, she never let MC finish introducing herself.

I mean, it'll still be trivially easy to burst the Bavarian Fire Drill for anyone familiar with the student body, or willing to ask for a demonstration of practical skill. But Reines can't quite pop the bubble by herself unless she already knows the MC for some reason.

You spent the night with Errai in passionate romance, fully committed in your love. In the following morning, you took a bath for the first time in a while before changing your attire again—this time to that of a pirate captain's. You walk out to be greeted by Rigel and the rest, wearing civilian attire. You have a casual chat before Errai and Betelgeuse catch up and discuss today's activities with you. Once the group has come to a consensus, they move to a truck parked outside with Mu Cephei waiting alongside it. Then a truck ride ensues.

The group begins packing up into the vehicle. You tell Betelgeuse that, for the short time you've been with her, you look up to her as a mother-figure already and that you love her in a filial way. She is surprised by your sudden confession and has trouble coming up with a good response.

>"I suppose I could allow this, being a surrogate does not seem too difficult. My words are at a loss, so allow me to reciprocate some other way."

She opts to give you a good old-fashioned parental hug instead. It's a good thing you don't have a raging hard-on right now or you would've felt guilty about this. After the hug you join the others in the truck, where it drives off towards a public road leading to the Transport District, according to Mu Cephei at least.

You are in the back of the truck en route to Resorcinol. You're feeling both excited and worried at how things would turn out. You take the time to reflect on your actions while you still can, which hits you with a startling realization.

In the selfish pursuit of having a fashionable attire, you have completely neglected to maintain your VISOR in the transition. It's gonna be more difficult handling things without your reliable HUD. You estimate that your REPAIR MODULE is still recharging after your earlier use.

Comes now the march of time, and the emergence of gods! The universe is has been around for awhile now but is in constant flux, with various gods appearing to attempt to bring order to the chaos... or not. However, can they get along and cooperate to bring the cosmos to peace and harmony, or will they tear it and themselves apart in conflict?

This is, The Age of Corruption

>Choose a name and become a God, and roll 1d100 to speak the WORD and make things happen.
>Anonymous players form a Choir to praise or scorn the works of these Gods as they see fit.
>Every god must list their primary domains (max 3) and gets to assign 30 points between them to be used as a bonus for rolls related to these domains.
>They additionally get 5 points per subdomain of these primaries to assign to their subdomains as they see fit.
>Any divine actions made (creation, destruction, etc...) that are entirely unrelated to the gods' chosen domains receive a penalty of 20 to all rolls.
>Each god additionally has a "Mantle of Power", a title that reflects their true divine self and a single thing that only THEY can do, as well as encapsulating their personality and the characteristics that make up who or what they are as a god. (These can range from anywhere between 'their aim is true(always hits when striking against something)' to 'The Star Mother(devours gods and purifies their essence as stars)'

And don't forget to roll a d100 when choosing your god and domain, to determine your initial divine power! This initial value is the dice value you will roll with thereafter, so if your initial roll is a 36, then you will roll a d36 when taking actions, for example.

>Ere the two suns rise, and shed light upon the universe!

Due to popular demand, there will now be (occasional) dice rolling. Since everyone also wants to participate in the rolls, I have decided to change the mechanics I originally had (which was a 2d6 success system)

However, rather than do the traditional roll dX and take the highest, we'll try something a little different:
1. You roll 1d6,
2. I will then add all the rolls up to get a total.
3. The catch is that I will subtract 3 from every roll. This means that rolling 1, 2, or 3 will result in a negative score and deduct from the total.
4. Anyone can roll as many times as they like
5. Three 1's in a row (going by post not person) is an automatic critical fail

Rolls will mostly be done in combat and for skill checks. I will always let you know when to roll.

Recap: You've awoken in this world, not having done too well in the genetic lottery. You have two fully functional heads, but pretty crappy vision and non-functional wings on your back. You've been deemed as being unready for life on the surface by shady beings and have been taken by a dweller to live out your early years underground.

You are introduced to your room. One kid hangs upside down, staring at you with the eyes that cover her body. Sitting on the bed near her, a kid has his entire torso wrapped in some sort of cloth. To your right stands a weird transparent kid with red eyes.

What do you do?

I vote we become an outcast even among them, so we can become isolated and hone our telepathic abilities. So don't say anything.

>Introduction:

"The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown." ~ H.P. Lovecraft

You are Katja Hartkern (Despite, or in spite of what anyone else says), and for the first time in a long, long time you're... Scared? Scared of what? You aren't fucking scared... Not over a tournament bracket, at the very least. You were scared when that "Ghost" tried to get the drop on you in your own home and his mask & top-hat showed up later at a hotel you were staying at. You were scared when it felt like that one wrestler chick, "Tsunami Tsuyako", was going to try and break your legs last week. Shit, you were scared that you had gone too far nearly breaking her arm in a sorta-rematch...

But to you, being scared is a sign of weakness, a sign of inexperience. You've won too many goddamn fights and have dealt with too much shit lately to be second-guessing yourself in the middle of your second "Friday Night Real Bout" tournament in two weeks.

"Shit, that kind of tough-talk used to work" you think as you take a look at the "Stage" (A small, grassy spot in a park situated between a coffee shop and a recreational center) getting prepared for the first fight of the new bracket.

Why is it that there's something deep inside of you that just...? You just can't quite seem to really give your best at anything, or achieve more than enough to live. You fell into your job at that shit-heap Cafe de Paradiso because it suits your needs and you never looked to try and press yourself any harder than you had to.

Fighting? Fighting's the same way. You learned Judo to help with getting bullied at school in your youth, then kept going until college where it got too hard and you felt like everybody else had some kind of advantage over you in some way or another. When you turned your back on Olympic gold for street fighting, you stuck with it because it felt easy compared to what you were doing before and the level of competition was low enough that you didn't need to really push yourself hard... Until now.

You take a look at the top 8 of the tournament again and shake your head. Just over a year ago it seemed like nobody important was showing up to this "Get Together" the city would sanction to try and keep youth away from crime, but now...

Now, you've got a couple of King of Fighters regulars (Eiji Kisaragi & Kasumi Todoh), a couple of old-school Real Bout fighters (Duck King & Rick Strowd) and three locals, two of whom are infamous around the city ("Karate Joe" & "Hobo-Kamen"). All you know now is that you don't have a snowball's chance in hell of beating anybody in this tournament. Hell, even the guy you haven't even heard of (Andrew Draco) could probably rip you a new asshole and serve it to you on a silver platter...

>A. Stay in the tournament. Break you fears, win this sucker and make your rent money for the month.

>B. Quietly drop out of the tournament. Fake an injury if you have to, but you can't go through with this, not without more time, training & tutoring from... Well, somebody.

>C. "Play it by ear" and watch how the rest of the brackets play out. Who knows, maybe you'll get the weaker side of the bracket and breeze through this tournament?

>D. Write-In Vote
