You felt happy. Seeing her want to change for you made you so happy. "Fujiko..." Your eyes light up with excitement as you take her knife. "I'll help you through it. If you need anything I'll definitely help you through it!"

Although Fujiko was wavering, hearing you say you'll support her gives her some hope. You could tell just how big of a part of herself she was giving up. It was written in her eyes. "Thanks Ryu." She smiles at you.

Taking her knife, you saw her eyes follow it as you put it in your pocket. "We can take it slow okay? You don't have to force yourself right away."

"Mhmm." She nods as she uses up all her willpower to try and prevent herself from asking for the knife back. "Oh yeah... What are you doing today Ryu?"

"Me? I'm..."

The bell rings on Becca’s phone alarm but you’re already up.

After last night’s fireworks, you still feel incredible. The woman you have your left arm around was sleeping so soundly up until the striking of 9 AM. She quickly slaps her alarm and lays back down.

Solid technique. Goddamn she’s beautiful.

She puts fists to her eyes and stretches, bumping her arm into you. She looks surprised, looks up, and immediately relaxes again.

“Good morning~.”

“Morning.”

You both smile and she reaches up to give you a kiss.

It’s Wednesday, and you’re not supposed to be training, but last night was workout enough to be fair. Not to mention, flooring Jim and scaring some gang members. Yesterday was pretty crazy. Come to think of it, it all started with this woman.
Becca turns off her second alarm, marking the passing of 9:02 AM. She then looks back at you and cuddles for a solid couple of minutes. Everything just feels right, you know?

“You’re the best. Last night was so explosive. I loved it!”

“Thanks. You’re not so bad yourself.”

Cheesy, sure. It’s the best you’ve got in a pinch.

She looks back at her phone.

“Oh shit!”

She hops out of bed, still naked, grabs her glasses and starts running around the room looking for her clothes.

“What’s up?”

“My shift started earlier today! I’m already late!”

Oh dang. You could’ve spent all day laying here with her. Honestly, a part of you thought that was the plan. Everything happened so fast last night, you kind of just wanted to be with her for a hot minute, you know?

Today you’ve basically got nothing planned. Maybe you could swing by somewhere fun? Maybe take Becca somewhere nice? Today is your day. What to do, what to do?

As you see her scrambling around your room, she makes dirty poses at you from time to time, entertaining you as you lay there covered by not much more than a sheet.

“Hey babe, I’ll text you later okay?”

Babe… something about that seemed so nice. Like it was cute in a way that you liked. It hits you just right for some reason. Babe. You smile when she says that.

But then an idea hatches…

I will be updating a pastebin as the quest continues, but I didn't save last session's. Most of my notes are in pencil anyway, but expect a paste with important info within a day or two.

You guys will usually be picking some greentext options, and rolling dice for your actions. If I call for a roll, it'll be a 1d100 unless otherwise specified, and I'll probably just take the highest roll for a dilemma unless there are lots of posters.

Talking is always a free action unless otherwise specified, so feel free to write in anything you think the character ought to say. Interacting with your group members or with NPCs can reveal more than you know.

I am always open to a write-in option! And will often lean in favor of intelligent or creative write-ins that surprise me in a good way.

Feel free to ask other questions as well, and I'll try to answer them one way or another.

Previously, on /zhq/...

You are James Kowalski, a former Congressman and a survivor of the outbreak that caused the collapse of civilization and turned its victims into violent and infectious zombies. You were part of a group of survivors that was doing well for itself, until the Legion rolled into town and either killed or recruited everyone. As part of the latter group, you entered the Tower, an overrun and abandoned survivor base, as part of an ill-prepared mission to clear the apartment building of any undead remaining within. Your group of nine got split up, and all hell broke loose as zombies stormed down the unsecured stairwells, causing panic. You and your partner Alice secured one of the stairwells and saved Grayson from being eaten, but not from the infection. Not long afterward, you ran into Jane, who revealed what had happened to her group and proposed that the three of you kill the remaining soldier in the building for the keys to the truck outside.

Elizabeth sat in silence, contemplating all that had been said. She already had her decision months ago, though. When that young boy saw a woman standing alone in an alley and offered her a job, he had captured the heart of Elisabeth. He hadn't needed to call out to her that evening, standing in the rainy darkness, but he had. And that alone was enough. She looked directly at the old guardian and spoke firmly.

“I'm sorry, Mr. Vermilion. Though your issues are serious, I will not step in. My master, the man who hired me, is Alexander Vermilion. I will do everything in my power to protect him and make him look the best he can. I cannot aid you in whatever plan you have.”

The old man looked startled by the sudden declaration, but quickly recovered. Rubbing out his cigar, he chuckled softly and looked towards the ground in sorrow. “Your dedication to that boy of mine is remarkable. Why an accomplished assassin would abandon it all for a job of cleaning is beyond me. I wish I would've had someone as talented as you when I was his age. My fortune would've been triple what it is now. Don't worry, though. I need nothing more from you than to defend my son. Your participation in the actual assault isn't necessary. I have others just as qualified to lead the attack once the Wing has been identified and isolated.”

Elisabeth nodded in response, rising from her chair. She pushed the chair back to its original position and started to walk out. When the old man didn't speak again, she continued through the doorway. She paused with her hand on the doorknob. Something felt off. She brushed her sleeve, unlocking one of the blades. Dropping her arm downwards, the knife fell from her band into her grip. Grabbing the doorknob, she yanked the door inwards and stabbed forward. A shovel flew through the air, stopping just shy of her forehead. Her hair swayed from the wind created by the brute weapon. Her knife trembled in the air just millimeters from the Gardener's sternum. She slowly lowered the knife as the Gardener raised the shovel back up and set it on his shoulder. She noticed the dirt on the floor and was irritated. The least the man could have done coming here would've been cleaning off his shoes before walking through the manor. She ignored it though, and started walking towards the stairs. She had business to take care of.

Looking for a journey through a strange land filled with monster girls and magic? Well, you came to the right place! This quest has an emphasis on world building, character-driven narrative and recently combat.

Last time you traveled back in time to discover the mystery behind the destruction of an ancient human village. Turns out it was you. You, and your friends Yuki, and Anna began to train in magic and after studying briefly under the Wizard Uriel you traveled to the Eversong forest. On the way, you stopped by a small village in the plains which was raided by sirens. In the process, they stole your friend Victoria so you began a journey to the siren village to rescue her. Upon arrival, you were confronted by the siren leader and then fell unconscious due to her magic melodies. What could this siren have in store for you and you friends? Why does she care about you so much? Will Mother ever tell you exactly what is going on? Find out as the quest develops.

You awaken naked in what seems to be a hot spring. “Finally awake are you” You hear the voice of the siren leader directly above you. After a second of realizing exactly where you were you find yourself to actually be sitting in her lap in the springs with her. “I must admit I was surprised to find out you were in fact a woman, but looking at you now it is clear that your clothes don’t do you justice.” You would be annoyed that you keep hearing this, but at the moment you are too busy concerned about everything that had just happened. “As for this sudden bath I should like you to know that I am a benevolent master, but I appreciate my servants clean. Seemed like you haven’t bathed in weeks so feel free to thank me.” What ensued was an incredibly uncomfortable bath filled with as much unwanted physical contact you could ever stand as she insisted on washing you personally. By contrast, she was enjoying herself greatly, to the point where she was taking pleasure in the action.

“Oh, I suppose I lost myself in the fun there. My name is Aviana leader of the siren village Arcadia in Eversong. From now on you will live with me as a personal handmaid.” At this point, you notice the collar around your neck with a red feather attached to it. “Ah, yes the slave collar, I’m afraid it doesn’t come off, but don’t worry despite its name under my care the collar should not be a hindrance, also the red feather is my symbol for property. As long as you have that no one in the village should assault you, or else incur my wrath.” Now I suppose you have many questions, and I would be happy to answer them for you. Though you should be quick about this, you have your first assignment to perform.”
