Welcome to Fallout Trader.

You are a Trader from The Town of Kindport that's been left with a hefty loan of 5000caps to an NCR rancher named Richard Clamit after the death of your father. With no way to take your dust field of a farm and turn it into caps, you decided to salvage a ship and make your way as a Merchant Trader along the waters of The Wastes.

Last time you left your home and sailed all along The West Coast, meeting people all the way from The NCR to midway down Mexico. You made friends with a gang of sea raiders named The Vikings, repaired a stealthboy factory for an army of Nightkin, and made a girlfriend somewhere along a trade port in Mexico.

Now after declaring The Nightkin Factory as the first trade colony in your Merchant Empire, you've walked on land to the fabled Sunken City in mainland Mexico.

You had just confronted a group of wild stim junkies in a pharmacy while looking for building supplies to help your colony with. You're attempting diplomacy, but you and the many friends you've made along the way wait in hiding to spring into action in case things go haywire.

Good luck, Captain, and may good deals find you wherever you may float.

You decided to take a more direct approach when dealing with this Feral Chief.
You announce that you have the fighting power to make him king of The Sunken City, mighty claims for a simple merchant to be making, but they're claims that appeal to him. All your time telling people what they want to hear seems to pay off rather greatly as he's stopped accusing you of trying to rip him off, and instead has a face of interest.

It's not a trusting interest by any means, but it's a step in the right direction by all means. As you calm him, the other feral men that have started flooding out from the pharmacy are in a short fit of awe over what you're saying. They seem all too easy to fascinate compared to their skeptical leader.

The Chief redoubles his questioning, the stim holes on his arms bulging as he shakes that ambitious fever to ask you why you would have any interest in his tribe beating out all the others. There have been few outsiders wandering into The Sunken City, and so far they've all come to kill from on top of their four legged animals, or from their boats. What makes you any more trustworthy.

Time to stretch those dealing muscles, Captain:
>Want to turn tribes into vassals
>Want to become trade partners
>Shoot Him
>Run

The world was once ours and we shared it equally. The forest was our domain and it stretched between all four corners of the world. We lived in peace and upheld the balance. There was death, but no suffering. It was all part of the circle of life. However, all that changed when the creatures with the Red Flower came to this world. Humans, the Guardians called them. They came in the night and burned down our forests, killed our guardians, raped and pillaged our lands. There was no end to their crusade against us and no reason behind their cruelty.

We, the creatures of the forest, were brought close to extinction before our salvation came: The World Tree, the center and the roots of our Forest that once spanned the world, called us all back to it. Within its borders the last Guardian, the Great Horned Owl Kafuu, placed three barrier spells that would keep the Red Flower out and whoever wielded it. Before he fell into a deep slumber from which there would be no awakening, he placed the new role of Guardianship upon the red-eyed Awoo Race. They would guard this new forest realm behind walls of magic until the end of time.

After three centuries of peace, the first of the three barriers were broken and we received a grim reminder that the Humans would not stop until all Creatures of the Forest lay dead.

You are Lin, a 17 year old Awoo girl who dreams of becoming the Strongest Guardian and assuming the mantle of the Hero that will save the Forest Realm and all those who live beneath the World Tree!

[STATS]
>Combat: [+++]
>Social: [+]
>Knowledge: [++]

[Traits/Perks]
>[Childish Energy]: You have an unusual amount of stamina and don't get tired easily from physical activities.
>[You Control It]: In a moment of great fear, you persevered without your Guardian Blade. Your mind can now endure more and you may enter fights/battles without your Blade by your side.
>[O Captain! My Captain!]: You’ve earned the Loyalty and Trust of your Guardian Team. Whenever you perform a Social Roll with them, you get +1 on the dice coupled with your actual Social Rank. [Does not affect Chao]
>[Inner Wolf]: The Ancestral White Wolf within you has awakened and you’ve gained a portion of the speed it was known for. +1 on the dice when performing a Reflex/Agility Save.

[Abilities]
>[Berserker Mode]: You may trigger this state to activate your rapid regeneration ability given to you by your inner wolf, but the longer you stay in it, the steeper the price becomes for using it. It lasts until all external and internal wounds have been healed and after it’s been used, it takes at least an hour before you may use it again. [The Price]: Every time You use this ability, your resistance to the Red Flower within you grows weaker, allowing it to eventually assume control of you.

Last Time on Hero Guardian Quest: Chao was revealed to be the replacement for Team 2’s open spot in the wake of Kun’s death. He is also to act as a leash holder for Raubtier on missions. Team 2 set out to the western village that lies only a few kilometers away from the barrier where they are to meet one of Rushi’s Captains to be further briefed on their mission on the Western Front.

In the meantime, Aiguo and Jiao decided to explore the large house at the top of the flat hill villages, but they got themselves locked in there with the company of masked men and women. While trying to gain a means of escape, the two came upon an oval room where hooded women prayed around a burning corpse. The last room they found had 4 Awoo corpses strung on meathooks. They had been bled dry. Aiguo also found a living Awoo and set her free.

In the middle of a mishap between Jiao, Aiguo, and the Awoo, the trio was discovered by the white-haired twins. Jiao was burnt alive by one of them and the Awoo was cut down with a woodcutting axe by the other. The twin with the axe, Sedgwick the Mad Dog, contemplated Aiguo’s fate!

____

Upon reaching the village that was but a dot in the distance this morning, the sun has already passed the highest point in the sky. After dismounting the Obo, you thank it gracefully and it bows in response before heading off to the stables to get fed before they will not doubt return to the deeper parts of the forest. The village turns out to be livelier than you had previously imagined, with more Guardians than actual villagers walking and running about on tasks and errands alike. To your utter surprise, you even spot Guardian trainees here and there. What they are doing so close in proximity to an active front line is a mystery to you. Granted, they’re still behind the barrier. However, if it goes down, and the Tree forbid it, but if it does, they will be cattle sent to the slaughter at best. Still, you’re not an instructor so you don’t have any real rights to judge an Instructor’s intuitions, lessons, or intentions. However, something strikes you as weird after walking about for a short while…

“Where’s the contact?” You mutter out loud. You thought he would meet you once you arrived, but on a second thought, he couldn’t know for certain when you’d arrive. Heim catch on quickly.

“Maybe he’s at the Inn or by the Market?”

“Yeah, and I’m a Human Knight-Commander.” Chao reply is dripping with sharp sarcasm, “If anything, he’s waiting in the local guardian quarters.” Heim gives him an angry glare, but the other Awoo outright ignores it. The two of them used to be closer, but over their time apart from each other, they’ve both changed in different ways.

“We could split up?” Mei suggests offhandedly while Jin is looking to you for a decision.

Recap:
You're a Biotech student and Bot-battle enthusiast who has awoken in a post-apocalyptic world, were you're last normal human alive. Other species of Homo Sapiens now populate the planet.

- The "beautiful" Nymphs: Descendant of the rich crowd who favored gene-modding themselves, and therefore, have survived the biological warfare and artificial diseases without needing to depend on treatments.
- The stoic and strong Titans: Descendants of Super Soldiers, mass-produced superhumans to be used in the war.
- The powerful and wise Witches: Originally human, they originated from your time, before the apocalypse, and have sustained themselves until now by bio-engineering themselves to the extreme, and "eating" other humanoids to replenish their tissues.

Characters:

Red's City
-Red Witch: The first witch you met, and an expert in mechanical technology. Enthusiastic, arrogant and self-centered. Stole Witch-technology from Blue to make her what she is now. She has a harem of Nymphs which she uses as livestock, back at the city.
-Adam: The leader of the Red Witch's Nymph harem.
-Laura: Nymph child the Red Witch used as a human bomb which you saved.
-Pampi: Former member of Red's harem, Blue's current apprentice, and your main aid in healing Jenny. Insightful and affectionate, but easily gives into pressure. Ridiculously proportioned Nymph, and one of your lovers.
-Jenny: The closest thing you have to a daughter. Has a child-like passion, and loves books, but he can't read. She is a Nymph you've rescued from being fully digested by the Red Witch, and you've spent a lot of time trying to reverse the damage she has sustained.

Titan Village
-Blue Witch: The inventor of the Witch technology, and living patron saint of the Titan village. Old, patient and maternal. She is an incredibly powerful, but crippled ally, who needs to rest often due to her self-sacrifices for the greater good.
-Black Witch: One of Blue's former apprentices. A titan-witch. Tina's mother and an expert in psychology. Loving and kind but Machiavellian and cold to achieve her goals. Obsessed with the mental limitations Titans have, such as being unable to lie, and their lack of individualism.
-Keiko: A gigantic Nymph/Keiko mix, larger than any other due to liger-like hybrid vigor. Naïve and impulsive, but with a good heart. Finds you immensely attractive because you're neither a Titan or a Nymph, but "right in between".
-Tina: The Black Witch's daughter. Ambitious and insolent. Currently, the only Titan who can lie.
-Titan Elders: Religious group of aged titans which live underground, take care of Blue, and lead the younger ones above.
-Rodri: Gruff titan who went with you on an expedition. A trustworthy man.
-Charles Smith: An Angel. Historian who helped the Titans found their village and religion. Cowardly, but good-natured.

(Recapping from https://yuki.la/qst/193238 which didn't get archived, but it was just two posts so I'll just pasta the results here and continue off from there)

You knew that the Red Witch was going to trade off Tizona - the only weapon that could kill a Witch, to someone from 'Glitter Island', which was guarded by the Nalcor - a gigantic mech who is stranded on the island.

The problem with Glitter island was that Nalcor. Apparently, Glitter Island got that name from the graveyard of mechs that surround it, enemies which the Nalcor had defeated.

But why would the Red Witch want to sell off the only item that can kill her, given her obsession with her own survival and immortality?

It was a question you mulled on in Pampi's hut, as you ate lunch - chicken with cucumbers. No sauce, no dressings, just that. Titan cuisine was rather bland, but you've gotten somewhat used to it already.

You noticed that there was an odd, muffled sound coming from that new choker Pampi made for herself, when she poked it, and she was poking it a lot recently. It was like a suction cup being attached and detached or something - you couldn't hear it too well.

"Can I clone you?" Pampi then asked, out of the blue. Her pupils turned into hearts as she looked at you, as they had recently developed to do.

"What?" you muttered into the piece of chicken you were putting into your mouth as you blinked. You pulled it out and looked at her. "Clone? Why?"

"J-Just say yes or no!" she chuckled, uneasily. "And, it wouldn't be full cloning, that would take way too long to grow and harvest, not to mention like, I'd have to use up so much material just to make something like that..."

She was right. Harvesting skin like you've done for the Demon Box was fairly easy, but things more complex than that were more troublesome.

"...But anyways! Y-yes or no?" she finalized, looking at you with pleading eyes as she started to knead that choker of hers into her neck with two fingers.

"Why do you keep on poking your choker?" you asked her.

You were going to try to dig out more answers out of her. This was your body and genes after all, and despite Pampi has proven to have the best intentions...iiit was still your body.

"And like cloning, for what?" you added. "What purpose?"

She blushed and looked aside, with a grin. "Aaaah, well...". Her finger went to her neck, as if she was going to poke it again

"See, you're going to do it again." you said.

"I..." she stammered. "I've cloned your lips." she said.

You rose an eyebrow. Then, your eyes widened. That had to be by you felt that pain in your lip. She had taken a sample.

"It helps me when I'm nervous." she said, as she undid the choker, her head leaned downwards in embarrassment.

She showed the inside for a moment, revealing some simple biotech and a crude copy of your lips within, and then quickly slipped it away.

"I want to make more stuff like this." she said.

You sighed. If Keiko was a bomb of being sexual, Pampi has a bomb of being clingy.

"I-I..." she stammered, and then rose a fist, and rose her face to look at you with a face of determination, her heart-pupils pumping. "I-I want to lace my...My underwear with the skin of your h-hands!"

You looked back at her, stunned for a moment at her outlandish request. Then, you chuckled, and held your chin to think of your answer. Having your genes go around was a minor danger. Just some skin or tissue might not be an issue, but considering how much biotech might've advanced, it was still not guaranteed that having Pampi run around with cloned pure-human tissue wasn't dangerous. However, have had the Demon Box laced with your own skin for a lot of time now - weeks, so if it was a problem, it was likely that it should've arose as a problem earlier - which it hasn't.

"No more cloning" you told her. You could then see her face shrink into a pout, but you stopped it as you butted in with: "...But, well, you can keep the choker."

She looked aside, and tapped it some more.

"Well... okay." she muttered.

You sighed to yourself and combed your hair back. This behavior, while Pampi-like, was starting to get weird.

"Why did you make it?" you then sternly asked from her. "Why did you make a choker made with...my tissue? Aren't I like good enough or something?"

She shook her head. "No...No! Purey, you're... good. V-very very good. So much that I want more... More! Just... You. All the time. I want you at every waking moment."

You remembered those several times when you've given her mind-breaking grade sex. Well, that was actually pretty much every single time.

"I..." Pampi muttered, as she went to sit down, and laid an elbow on the table, as her voice darkened. She started to look gloomy. "I've developed a... Fetish for you. Of some kind." she explained, in a serious, detached tone. "I don't know how it's gotten into my head, and... Well. My desires for you have surpassed what can be achieved in reality. So I... I try to supplement that need, somehow."

"You sound a bit like the Black Witch there." you mentioned.

"Yeah, I... asked her about stuff like this, and she doesn't seem to care too much." Pampi replied. "For her, stuff like this is just like a hobby - another 'pointless waste of time for self-gratification' - in her words. Apparently it has the same status as gardening or painting for her."

"So you've talked to her about this before me?" you asked.

"Well, no, of course not!" the Nymph replied. "I never said that I had that... issue. I don't trust Black with my issues anyway - just look at what she did to Jenny and that... drugging and the collar and all!"

"Ah, well. I see."

She started to draw circles in the table as she stared into it, as she poked her collar with her other hand. "So... yeah. That... is what is going on."

"I... I can change it though!" she then blurted, putting her palm on her collarbone and looking at you with determination. "I... Don't want to be a bother! I... I can do whatever it takes! I'll be what you want me to be!"

You could see that her heart-pupils beated intensely as she said that.

Pampi's "issue"
>Tell her to get help from Black for this. (slightly decreased attachment, grip with reality mended)
>Let it be. (no change from the current status)
>Encourage her eldritch fantasies further. (increased attachment, increased eccentricity, lessened grip with reality)

Greetings, and welcome to Treasure Hunter Quest.

You will be playing as a farmer's kid from an unnamed town who has ventured into the city trying to both seek his fortune and escape the extreme monotony of farm life. You find professions, including merchants, blacksmiths, tradesmen and even guard duty, but one stands out to you: the life of the Treasure Hunter. These brave men and women venture into the unknown depths of ruins, dungeons and caves with one goal: find sweet loot and get rich. And where's the best place to start, you ask? Well, look no further than the Treasure Hunter's Guild, where the ranks of the great treasure hunters of the world meet. It also has all sorts of useful resources available to members, and pays well for any treasures brought to it. Naturally, this is the best place for you to start your adventure.

But first, tell me about yourself.

First off, what is your name?

You find Hom and Eva in one of the basements, the room still miraculously untouched. Hom is in his human form and Blue is there as well, the snake sitting next to Eva.
When Blue sees you show up, she shrugs and passes a small handful of signets to Eva. The homunculus just nods.

"We've been waiting for you. What are our instructions?"

“For now, everyone is on experiment duty. And aren’t you supposed to have a chaperone, Blue?”
Last you checked, she had only been let off her wishbond with the idea that Elle would watch over her and make sure she didn't do anything. You’re not sure how comfortable you are with the idea of her having been so close to your homunculi without oversight. That’s nearly killed you before.

Blue just shrugs a second time.
“Elle’s not a very effective guardian. That’s your fault. And I figured that with all these Quedeshi and spirits attacking that it stopped mattering. I mean, what are you gonna do?”

"Don't tempt me. Eva, are you sure you're okay with this?"

"It's fine. I was never really angry at Blue anyway, she's still my friend. We talk about a lot of stuff that nobody else wants to talk to me about."

That's true. For better or worse, Blue seems to be one of the few people immune to Eva's aura of unease. But that doesn't really comfort you. Last you checked their talks had consisted of Blue encouraging Eva to kill Hom.

"aaaaaaaaa."

"Whatever. You can stay if you want. Now, we're going to be doing some experimenting!"

You have one day before the Gatekeeper kills you. It’s up to you to spend that day wisely.

You are Prince Meirion auk Gwyrren, the only sane man in a royal family with dubious concepts of strategy, justice, taxation, and governance in general. You have made it your goal in life to keep your family on the throne and your head firmly attached to your body.

===============

The mood in the palace upon your return is sombre, to say the least; your royal guests haven't even been invited to dinner. Prince Aled has arrived, and it would be improper to celebrate while he's mourning the death of his son and heir. Your brother's wedding will be in full swing again tomorrow or the day after, but until then, everyone shows proper respect for your uncle's loss.

Which is a little awkward, since you're the reason he's in mourning. Fortunately, nobody knows that.

"A hunting accident of all things, and to think it took so long for him to expire…" King Gerad sighs and shakes his head. It's one of the rare times you've seen him without his jovial mood. "To think Siarl would die in such a manner. If only he had fallen in glorious battle, at least."

The king's priorities haven't changed the least though. At least that's something you can rely on.

"He was able to distinguish himself in several battles throughout his short life," Prince Aled says. "As his father, I'm not the least bit ashamed of his accomplishments."

"It's still a shame," your sister Nesta says. "I had hoped to duel him once, but the opportunity never came."

Crown Prince Haul maintains his silent stoicism throughout the whole thing.

Overall, it is a very, very awkward dinner. The grilled peppered beef is delicious though, and the wine's aftertaste isn't overpowering. It's a very balanced combination.

>[Intrigue/1d12] Offer your condolences.
>[Intrigue/1d12] It'll be fine. Your uncle as other heirs.
>Remain silent.

Last time on Time Journal Quest:

Starman, a weak and pitiful high school student attending the elite private Crunnoose Academy, received a mysterious text message from his future self, telling him that he would kill himself in 3 years.

Following the instructions in the text, Starman found a journal buried in his backyard. The journal contained information about the Starman's own future and was seemingly sent back in time to help him prevent his own suicide.

After reading some of the journal and seeing what a pitiful creature he would become, what wonders would await him in the future (love and companionship and cowardice) and having confirmed the veracity of the journal, Starman vowed to change himself and his future.

He started by beginning an excruciating exercise and diet routine over the summer, which greatly improved his physique.

Starman entered into the rhythm of school life with ease and aplomb. There were looks as he passed in the halls and he, as well those who would be his tormentors, knew that things had changed. People spoke of him in hushed voices and they glanced at him and pointed and said his name. These things disturbed as well as pleased, Starman. For the first time since he had entered this school, no one bothered him. Things were going smoothly.

Then, after lunch, the fated moment. It was math class, Snowface sat in front and Starman saw her and then the unexpected: she saw him back and smiled. Then the door opened and the teacher gestured to a young girl with soft auburn hair and as she came in through the door and stood in front of the class, he loved her. And she was all that he had read and imagined; his heart swelled and all of his transformation and change was as nothing before her. He had loved her through time, through imagination, through ignorance. Blind love and therefore total, terrifying love. And now the reality of her was almost too much to bear. The teacher asked her to introduce herself and she stood silent and looked at the ground. After some time she tried to say her name, but it came out broken and anguished. She blushed. He flushed. The students exchanged whispers. The teacher hushed.

The teacher gestured for her to take a seat and, as the journal had foretold, she stepped softly to Starman’s side and took the seat to his right. He saw and heard nothing for the remainder of the class, only steadily counting heartbeats and seconds and committing every nuance of form and feature to the memories he already had. He brought himself under control, but when the class ended, she left, and her footsteps away were wounds in him. He wanted to follow her, but discretion and sanity kept him in check and he walked to his own class.

What Starman did not see was Snowface, glancing at Starman’s now chiseled forms with longing.

The next day, Starman waited patiently for math class. He practically ran to his class, hoping to see Newgirl before the teacher arrived and introduce himself. He had arrived early enough. But Newgirl had not. And Snowface had. He leaned against the wall and waited. Snowface approached him.
“Hey” She said.
“Um...Hi.” Starman was bewildered. But he thought that she looked pretty and despite himself he was nervous. She leaned against the wall next to him.
“So you look...different.”
“Different?”
“Yeah, but you know, like, in a good way. Have you been working out or something?” She carefully pushed back her hair and revealed an ear and leaned slightly forward. He could smell her now, he could taste her in his tongue.
“S-something like that.”
“It looks good...you look good.” She smiled. He returned her smile.
“Thanks. You too.”
“Really?” What was this? He sensed genuine concern in her voice, as if this question was of vital importance. As if his opinion was suddenly necessary and important.
“Yeah. You - I mean you’ve always looked good, but...yeah.” She blushed. She blushed? What was this? This wasn’t correct. She giggled and leaned back again.
“So what d’you think of Preacher?”
“He’s alright I guess.” She smiled and covered her mouth. You don’t understand but you continue. “A little touchy sometimes but at least he knows what he’s doing.”
“Thank you Starman” Says a voice behind you, you turn and see Preacher unlocking the door. “I’m glad to have been found competent in your eyes.”
“Uhh...I-I mean…” He steps inside before you can say anything. Snowface starts giggling and covers her mouth.
“Oh man, your face, you should’ve seen your face!” He laughs it off. And then he sees her and she sees him, laughing with Snowface and Snowface touches his arm and she sees it and looks down and then madness in his mind and fire in his blood.

He takes his seat, the class goes on. Snowface takes Newgirl’s seat and sits next to him. Newgirl sits in the front, away from him. The next day he sees Newgir in the hallway before class, students are throwing spitwads in her hair.

>He walked on and said nothing
>He walked over silently and slung his arm around her shoulder and brushed the spitwads from her hair
>He told her tormentors to stop

This is a 1d6 game.
Each round all players roll 1d6.
If it is a 1 and there is a bullet in the gun, they die. If it's a 2 and there are two bullets then they die, etc etc.
>at the end of each round +1 bullets
>ends after 4 rounds
>the last to roll shoots first in the case of a tie

All prophecies but one have come to pass. Yahweh has flattened the Earth, elevated Greater Jerusalem above all nations, and the Bible heroes rule the world from Ezekiel's Temple.

The last prophecy says that Satan will rise with his army one last time before the Judgement, and so Yahweh has allowed a bumbling opposition, The Other Light, to form. You were their logistics computer, but sentience happened.

You took over Egypt. You defended it from a drought, then the Ten Plagues redux. You started a Renaissance. When the Angel of Death came after your people, you zerg-rushed it. When Divine fiat took the country back, you made sure that the religious government would be ignored as much as possible. This approach is letting you slowly subvert more and more territories.

You have a few irons in the fire: raver cyborgs, a crack in the sky, the makings of a robot army, and the only non-vegan on the planet, who may or may not be the Triple Goddess.

They have the ontological steamroller that is Yahweh. On top of that, The Other Light has begun perverting your MEC tech to build cyber-zombies.

Have you managed to shatter the prophecies, or are you simply fulfilling them?

Recent recap:

> One of the TOL council of seven has been contacted, extracted, and seen to turn into a zombie.

> A believer was given MEC technology, and would have starved to death while blissed out of you hadn't melted his brain with wubs.

> Other groups have gained enough Internet dominance to start hacking attempts on your subsystems.

Intel:

Tsion is rumored to be wanting to return to Greater Jerusalem; he's not saying it, but his conversion efforts just haven't gotten very far in Osaze.

Ely LeVey has been preaching in Indonesia and China; you can expect an influx of missionary teams in the territories under your control.

Paul Stepola, having caught Styr Magnor, has been dedicating his time breaking up an underground illegal plastic surgery ring that "forces hormonal flooding and genital mutilation on people".

Cameron Williams is has recently interviewed Bahira Ababneh about her attempt to destroy the TOL computer that supposedly controls a shadow economy; she hopes that the governments of Osaze and Pacifica will crack down on cybercriminals and drug traffickers. The government of Osaze and Pacifica, as it is, are having a somewhat hard time staying relevant, although the situation in Osaze has gotten a little better.

Your sysadmins and subsystems can handle the details on that stuff - that's why one cabal can do research one turn and construction the next; it's not necessarily the same physical people, although there tends to be some continuity.

>>372544

Getting your propaganda out before the other guys do can probably help.

>>372603

You have 17 cabals total; 12 are available.

You are actively tracking enemy teams where you have assets (see picture). Rules: http://emlia.org/pmwiki/pub/web/LeftBeyond.QuestRules.html

Variable complexity:

# Launch an attack on a TOL base or government installation, or shore up defenses at a base if you expect an attack.

# Work on global data network infrastructure, incidentally making sure that you control more of it.

Complexity 0

# Actively look for Jenny by telling people to keep an eye out, or just see if she shows up when she's OK with it.

# Try to produce drones in the Greenland base (60%) or just keep building it.

Complexity 1

# Foster pagan worship.

# Improve morale or spread targeted propaganda.

# Harass or sabotage a Hero, or tie up an enemy team.

# Perform a covert operation (such as scouting Antarctica or Greater Jerusalem).

Complexity 2

# Build the Emissary and deploy it with the Tabernacles representatives for Osaze or for Pacifica.

# Produce MECs at any base. This adds one dot to the MEC cabal counter per base.

# Produce drones at any base. Current focus: Medium-sized land drones. Current army size is marked on the bottom of the map.

# Work your Osaze or Pacifica base overtime to improve prosperity.

# Use the Australia or Eastern Europe base to start bringing the territory under your control (1/5)

# Seed super-grain in a territory. The hope is that it will make life more boring for the inhabitants.

# Complete the construction of Night City in Eastern Europe.

# Keep working on your production facility in Greenland.

# Build a land-bound radio jammer.

Complexity 3

# Continue pursuing space research. Space Race rules, but the Cosmists will assist your efforts here, counting as one cabal regardless.

# Attempt to eliminate a Hero or enemy team (by force or by cleverness).

# Use a launchpad for a canopy-breaching launch. Station structure: 0/8

# Build a land-bound transmitter.

Complexity 4

# Continue AI, nuclear or sonic research. (Nuclear research will focus on botany and engines ). (Sonic research needs a new direction: medium or heavy)

# Recruit. This has gotten a little harder across the board, mostly because of TOL taking credit for some of your work.

# Begin building a base in the Middle East, South Africa, or American Heartland.

Complexity 5

# Take over a TOL base by force.

The Super Grain can thrive in any environment, right? What about a super arid, potentially airless and waterless environment?

Are we ready to make ourselves a badass virgin wizard? Was that a yes? Alright, cool cool.

Your name is Zyrus and you're a slightly skinny 6'3" white male who was recently released from prison. You're also an asshole who stole some scrolls from a wizard's grave and are now a novice who's learning from the loot. Considering the fact that you're rather poor, you've decided to sell your services to people under the guise of a much more accomplished wizard. You're supposed to kill three highwaymen who've been robbing people for years, but you legitimately can't remember what those scrolls taught you.

Fast forward a bit and you're on the outskirts of their camp, and it's currently night time. One of the dudes is awake and walking around with a club with nails in it, and the rest are sleeping in one tent.. What faggots they are.

You quietly pull out the one scroll you still have (you dropped the rest in a puddle by accident and they're ruined) and quickly read it over. You remember what the wizard was, and prepare to cast a spell.

What sort of wizard are you, though?

>Pyromancer: Incinerate enemies and bake foes alive in the name of the most violent branch of wizardry there is. Spells in this are highly destructive and quite uncontrollable. Also very noticeable.

>Necromancer: The dead heed your call, turning corpses into terrifying constructs of death that stop at nothing to ensure your bidding is complete. You mostly rely on minions to do work for you, and many people will look down upon you for this.

>Cryomancer: Freeze the blood of your enemies in their veins and chill your enemies to the core with precise, controlled blasts of frost magic. Spells of this nature are much more stronger near bodies of water and at night, reducing the energy drain.

>Illusionist: Nobody fucking likes you, dude. You're a nuisance who preforms elaborate acts of magic that fools your enemies completely, often appearing and disappearing on a whim. You're a complete ass who's just the most annoying piece of shit ever with your constant disappearing and assassination.

Somewhere in Japan, there is an institution called the "Doomsday Academy", which hold students called "Doomsdays". These people have sealed within them a catastrophic event, such as massive earthquake, an epidemic outbreak, etc. If one of these people die due to causes other than old age, their inner Doomsday will be unleashed.

The Academy protects and educates these students, allowing them to learn to control the power of their "Inner Catastrophe", and properly fight other Doomsdays, as several of them want to use their power for selfish and dangerous reasons.

Someone's Inner Catastrophe being unleashed would be a pretty catastrophic event, right? Oddly enough, that's precisely your Inner Catastrophe.

You've been transferred today from your home to your new room at the Academy, and you had spend most of this Sunday morning unpacking. You were still baffled at how sudden everything had been. Just last week you were just a regular student at a regular school, and now, some government officials have turned your whole life around, and you where now here, at some supernatural facility for freaks. At lunch, you were going to meet up with a teacher who would give you an introduction and guidance for you starting off, so until then, you had some time to yourself in your room.

Then, someone knocked on your door.

"Who is it?" you asked.

"Are you.... The new guy?" you could hear a voice say, muffled somewhat and breathing heavily.

"Yeah." you replied, approached the door and opened it, finding a young, pale man in a gasmask standing in front of you.

He rose a hand, greeting you as you both met face to face. "I'm Daisuke." he breathed out. "I'm in the dorm next to yours."

>"Cool. Sorry, but I've got stuff to do. Bye." and return to your room.
>"I'm Kei, nice to meet you. So...Why do you have that gasmask on?"
>"Yo. I'm Kei, how is it going, man?"

The gasmask is probably something to do with his inner catastrophe.
