Welcome one and all to Kobold Civ Quest. Ran something like this years ago on /tg/ and, [s]with nothing better to do[/s] because I like you guys so much, I decided to give this another shot on /qst/.

Real fucking simple premise here; You're a group of Kobolds that just recently got your shit kicked in by some other assholes that we'll determine later on, and your whole goal is to find a new place to settle down, recoup your losses, and seek revenge!

Or, you know, end up dying.

Now as is apparently common on this board, I went and set up a twitter for you fucks in case ya'll got questions or if you wanna' check up on the progress of when I'll be postin' again.

d10's, or multiples of them, for every basic task and such, and we'll be using Best of 5 because I'm super generous.
d100's will be used for random events and encounters. They can range from finding magical berries to coming across Kobold eating Owls.

About The Quest~

Consider this quest a sandbox-ish quest(there's still a plot tho), you'll be meeting different species and doing whatever you want with them, anything goes, there's no-write in that's too lewd, stupid, crazy, dumb, like i said anything goes

You'll decide what to do with the tribes and species you'll meet along the way, want to turn their female/male population into submissive wrecks while the other dominates them? Want to drive them into extinction? Want to unify all the species of the area and make a kingdom out of them with you at the helm? Sure, go ahead, if the majority is ok with it you can do it

I'll provide you with possible actions, suggestions as well as an option for a write-in

Keep in mind that English isn't my first language so there will be a few typos and grammar errors here and there, if and when you see one of these feel free to point them out and correct me.

I would appreciate feedback after the session is done

You were in the village and you were able to reconnect with Dream Lady after successfully remembering enough bits about her, you still can't remember her completely but you can remember your situation with her and what you she wanted you to do.

The news says it was a special solar eclipse in the history of the universe. Part of the world began to darkened and people flock outside to see the occasion. You are one of those who is doing his job when the spectacular phenomenon of the universe occurs.

As soon as the eclipse reached the climax, everything became void. First, the wall that surrounding you began to fade and excited chatters became whispers. Then you felt yourself falling down, as if the darkness swallow you whole. Is this how people felt when they suddenly lost all their five senses?

"What you're feeling is the leftover effects of trying to look through the Eyes. Disorientation is to be expected at this point. Nausea quite likely as well, though that seems to have passed. Lunacy is definitely a new one, though.."

"Merely a jest." She says with a grin so wide, even though I can't see it as she carries me resting on her shoulder, I can definitely hear it.

"Still, in your current state," She says as she drops herself back unto her bed and eases her grip slightly as she shifts by head from resting on her shoulder and unto her soft chest. "- The only responsible and adult thing to do would be to, hmm-hmm, restrain you for now. For your own safety, of course!"

"Heeh? Ruh-ruh-restrain?"

"Hmm-hmmm, quite so."

I feel a hand gently weaving through my hair as she coos with delight.

"Just until you recover your senses, of course. Do you recall what happened yet?"

What.. oh! Oh, I remember now. She was showing me this 'Linkstone' thingy that you're supposed to use to see through the 'Eyes' connected to it. So I tried it, like she told me to, and then, uhm.. Then I was here? That's probably not good.

"Uhm.. I failed, didn't I?"

Last year, you Awakened to... something. Magick, some told you. Enlightenment to others. Madness to a few. In any case, you found yourself able to change reality. At first, it was just your own senses, but then you had some fucked up dream and it gave you an epiphany: you could use your powers on a lot more than just sensing things out. You met some fellow mages, they told you some things about how this all worked - most of it seemed like nonsense, but there was an undercurrent of reason to their blather. The world is made up of Patterns, and when you do magick, you alter those Patterns. Doing so doesn't come without cost or risk, however. The fundamental energy of all Creation that suffuses these Patterns, and makes them work, that stuff is necessary for big effects, and any time you do magick, especially when it's vulgar, or obviously supernatural, there's a risk that consensus reality whips back and strikes you with Paradox.

You've come to learn the basics of the magickal world, at least as far as you can tell. But you still have a lot more to learn, and so much to do.

General rules:

There is a 10 minute voting period after each post. Non-contradictory votes will be combined as best as possible.

Write-ins for all votes are always welcome and encouraged. They may not all make it into the post or be altered to fit in, but I'll do my best to at least try to address the spirit of the write-in.

Very important or contentious votes may be redone in a stricter voting system as circumstances warrant.

Combat mechanics involve three rolls of 1d100, taking the best, and using the base accuracy and crit ranges of the game, roughly, but the 'turn order' will be more like the anime, where sometimes you can do a few moves in a row or be hit by a combo of moves yourself, all depending on circumstances. Stronger moves tend to take more time and have more cooldown than weaker moves, so beware of that timing. Speed is more important for closing ground, intercepting, and other things and doesn't necessarily mean going first.

Call me out on a mistake and receive a suggestive picture, mostly likely a butt.

You are Captain Kusajishi Riku, and the call you were expecting didn't take long. You've found yourself before the Central 46 for what feels like the millionth time this week, and there are no doubts as to the real reason for your presence here.

As soon as you're given the opportunity, you speak your mind. “Why am I here?”

“You know full well why you're here,” one of the counselors replies.

“It's not to testify about Kusaka,” you muse aloud, laying out your reasoning in full. Just so that anyone deluded enough to still think you can't see through their bullshit is on the same page. “I doubt he took much convincing to tell you everything about himself and his motivations, and you probably already confirmed his testimony with Captains Shihōin and Urahara. So that leaves the incident with the Ōin.”

“Correct,” the man confirms.

“Then why am I here?” you repeat, glaring straight at the screen in front of him, as if intending to bore through it with your gaze. You can sense him shift uncomfortably under the pressure.

“You abused a divine artifact when you activated and by all accounts used the Ōin. Consider yourself fortunate we were persuaded by some of our colleagues to hear your words on the subject before sentencing.”

“Yes, I accidentally cut the Ōin when one of Kusaka's arrancar companions got in my way. I was aiming for his arm,” you recount. “An embarrassment, really, I'm not used to my strikes missing the mark like that.”

“So you claim it was an accident? Then why did you go on to use its power?”

“The Ōin is dangerous,” you insist. “It gave me both the power to reshape reality itself, and an overwhelming desire to use that power. And it bears repeating that I rejected the Ōin and returned it to the Shihōin clan of my own choice.”

“And why? What purpose did that serve you?”

“It's better this way for all of the people I care about, and to those I'm responsible for,” you reply stoically. “Which serves your goals in the end too, if your goals really are balance and stability.”

Hello again fellow creators. After a short break on my part today we will be returning to Moon World Rienia at the start of the Magedivatian Era, post mass extinction.

As GM, I'll do my best to actively work on phylogeny charts to track the evolutions, and also make random events for the world to drive evolution down new paths. Since I've done this a few times now, and taken the time to observe/lurk on other EvoGames, I've picked up a few new tricks to keep everything organized and streamline too. Also we'll be returning to Janus after having 2 threads for Rienia.

How to play:
• Open an image of a species in MS Paint, or your editor of choice
• Make one evolutionary change to that species
• Save as .PNG!
• Post your new species in the thread with a description of what evolution you've added and why.
• Details indicating what the generation of your species is important. Please indicate. (Base Organisms are Generation 0)
• Details regarding a creatures size or name are encouraged, but not required.
• Nothing too outlandish. Anything silly or derailing will not be considered a canon species 95% of the time.

Notes:
• Unless stated explicitly, no species ever goes extinct. Old species can still evolve, even if they're not on the latest "chain"
• Try to make your evolutions gradual and realistic in biological standards.
• Everyday I'll add an update Phylogeny Chart to track changes. These take awhile, so please be patient.
• Expect a Random World Event in order to drive new and wonderful evolutions.
• There will be no Mass Extinction Event for this era, but this will be the final era the Base Organisms are available for evolution.
• This thread and the next immediately following thread with focus just on Rienia.
• Have fun

Oh shit nigger it's a /qst/ adventure thing. That I'm pretty sure I saw someone did before and I'm ripping them off but I can't remember the name so I can't credit them. Yea.

4 persons form an adventuring party in a nondescript generic fantasy land.
Each chacacter needs at least 1 player to be the voices in their head to tell them what to do n shit.

Just give yourself a name with the character's team color to identify which person you belong to. Ex: "Red Faggot"
The party's current mission is to raid an ancient tomb that has been taken over by bandits, and now face the dungeon boss: The Bandit Boss.

Greetings, and welcome to 4chan Village! This works by each user creating a character with traits rolled out of 100 (strength, dexterity, endurance, intelligence, concentration, and charisma, with subtypes for each broad category of traits--the numbers will start as the same amount as the broad traits but will increase based on how much one does it, e.g. mining starts as the same for strength, but increases as you mine more). You roll out of one hundred for each of the six broad stats, but you may distribute them as needed, such as designating the 100 you rolled to strength, the 69 to dexterity, etc. Anyone can at anytime during the series join. You start as a group of how many users decided to join, with as many NPCs as necessary. You are a nomadic group and your goal is to settle down and create an advanced society. This thread is for creating characters and defining what their skills are, what they do, and other such relevant information. I'll also familiarize you with the world you live in with maps and history.

Hello and welcome back to Mortal Kombat Konquest. On today's episode, we'll be returning to controlling Akayama Kaito, who has just lost his entire team and many of his allies due to the sudden attack of Triborg, heralding the rise of the Tekunin Clan and the dawn of machine dominance. Not too content with this sort of thing, and already very much troubled from other recent events, Kaito has withdrawn to Edenia with the magical orb that can allow him this one chance to change the past and save the future.
