Tael-Amei rose his white war horse to the gates of the city of Itaria, his long blonde hair falling behind his shoulders from underneath his golden helm. He smiled as his bright blue elven eyes caught sight of the gaurds, and removed his helm, saluting them with respect as he rode into the city. It was dark in the city, for night had fallen without moon nor star to light up the darkness. Ever watchful, Tael made his way to the inn, stables his horse, and walked in. He made his way over to the bar, ordered a drink and sat down, nursing on his whiskey as he scanned the Inn, looking for talent for his mercenary company.

Is there more to this tale?

You should probably... you know, give us a little context here. Is this who we're playing as? What are we doing? What is our motivation? Where are we? Are we the head of a mercenary band, or just a member? What's our backstory, who the hell are we? Sorry, but this is just a very confusing and unhelpful intro. Also, you should proofread your posts before you send them, because you've got a lot of spelling errors.

Welcome to Cornville, population: 75. You've recently arrived to escape your boring previous life and have a fresh start. The drive into town was filled with a full sight of a straight road due west and massive cornstalks north and south of the road. Entering the town, you find Main Street is flanked on either side by blocks of buildings up to two stories high, and everywhere you turn your head you see the tenets every small town needs: a bar here, high school there, police and fire station, post office, diner, etc.

You are amused by the nearly open roads and complete absence of traffic lights at the major intersections. Except for the occasional loitering teens and employee on break, you could swear there's no sign of human activity. Good, you thought, if this town had anything resembling normal I'd doubt I'd find what I'm looking for

Entering the motel, you get your room key and then head straight for the adjacent bar. You only see an old man, obviously blind. He appears to beckon his arm to you to come and sit.

> Hey old timer.

You cringe at the greeting as soon as it leaves your lips. In the back of your mind, you grow a little disappointed that despite your uprooted life you manage to still excel in starting awkward conversations.

The old man didn’t seem to mind however.
You a newcomer?
He asks, you nod. After a prolonged silence that indicated a pending response you blush and audibly say ‘yes’.

I reckon you aint her for da corn, am I right?
This time you make sure to give a verbal affirmation.

The old man chuckles.
You know that pop-yoo-layshan sign we got out there? Used ‘ta be that we dunt change the number for forty years. He whistled. ‘Magine that, forty years and not a peep o’ any zooha, not even from ‘da city!

Nowadays? I remeditate’n with old lady liquor, and whoa-ey, nuther zooha walkn w' th' denims on the pants! Wid' ya fancy com-pyoo-tur tellyphones and nipponesian cars. Town ain't da same no mer.

So what kinda zooha’re you anyway? Won’dem foobie doobies, or one of those follywobbles? Juju boy? Paddywaddy?

You pause and he waits earnestly. You open your mouth and respond

> I'm a foobie doobie
> I'm a follywobble
> I'm a juju boy
> I'm a paddywaddy
> Please, sir, I don't understand what you're saying

Half convinced that you understand the blind man's dialect, you respond
> I'm a juju boy

The man blinks. Heh, 'f you a juju boy ain't gon sense you much I reckon. Dunt get me wrong, aint no'thing harm a juju boy in this town 'cept maybe...a paddywaddy, 'f they can find y'all anyway. No, boy, I jest mean dat dem juju boys up in der asses in paintn' n' readin', seem real artsy folk 'till you find why 'dey paintn' n' readin'.

He suddenly upends his beer, completely draining the bottle in time you didn't think a man his age would achieve. Starting again, he tells you matter of factly The last juju boy I 'member went down the dirt road in 'da wilderness.

You take into consideration the information he's given. You wonder if you should pursue the path the old man laid out in clues or try your luck with getting the old man to tell you more about the town.

You are travelling on a forest road, trying to reach the village before nightfall. Who are you, and what are your skills?

I am Glómbulum Krakaz, a 73 year old dwarf.

I have much skill with my axe and with my shield I am unmatched.
I can move in my heavy armor as if it was made out of feathers, my strength is overwhelming, even among the strongest of the race of men.
My will is nigh unbreakable.
>>
>>1410549

Dusk is coming, and the forest turns golden from the light of the setting sun. It is peaceful, but you know night is coming and you are not sure how much further you have to go. All this was a little bit of a rushed undertaking. But rumours of a worthy challenger in the village ahead made you leave in a hurry.

>Nothing worth living for if not a good fight!

You know there are supposed to be some caves nearby, for you the next best thing to your mountainhome. Sleeping under the oen sky is not for a dwarf, and this is far from civilization. Who knows what's lurking in the night.

What do you do?
>>
>>1410566
Head for the caves, if any danger lies within them, I can take it on with my trusty axe!

>Look for information on expected resistance, and local pirate activity. It seems that these bastards are thick in the air out here and knowing the best course of avoiding or dealing with them will lead to better decision making for resource gathering

The war has already begun in an official capacity, and you have yet to so much as acquaint yourself with the barest intel on the single greatest threat to the supply lines that swim in your head. The Koprulu sector is lawless and mad in good times, even the confederacy barely mounted enough patrols t defend privatized industry centers, core worlds, and shipping lanes. Across nearly 8 dozen systems encapsulating the inhabited human space there is disarray everywhere. Many worlds pay homage to the dominion with troop and supply shipments, but many more are hotbeds of sedition, armed resistance, pirate fleets, and the kind of homegrown hit and run super-predators you have never dealt with in your time back in civilized space. There is no doubt in your mind, the lawless in this sector will be your first great hurdle to supremacy.

Returning to your office in the manufacturing space you set to work, unhindered by the sounds of heavy industry beyond your doors, and the tread of hundreds more men and women joining the labor. All of it will be wasted if you cannot subjugate or nullify the threat of looting, this great work of yours. You immediately begin sifting local reports, of which there are many.

You have dealt with outworlds, with upstart well funded rebellions, even squashed a few pirate outposts in your time, but the sheer wall of organised crime before you is daunting. Immediately you recognize several factions equaling the power of the rogue Kel-Morian Combine. As they stand, there is the rogue world of Deadmans port, home to several massive raider and mercenary factions. You make note that some of these mercenaries seem to be so far rogue as to be potential targets for hiring should you ever find a lack of manpower, which seems now inevitable unless Stukov can subjugate the Zerg swiftly. The chief among the pirates stationed in system a cheif powerouse is a mercenary kingpin called Orlan, and you can find no reference to a last name, though apparently he styles himself a colonel. His forces are vast, and he has raiding fleets sufficient to repel the ire he has earned among the dominion. No doubt his forces will make an appearance nipping at your sides if not dealt with. Second in Deadman is a rising star, one Mira Han, who has only just begun to make a name for herself bruising out local contractors dealing in looted ships and components. Her forces are steadily growing and in a year or so you expect she and Orlan will have complete control of the out-world hub.

And last and somewhat notably is a dedicated raider group going by the name of Raynors raiders. Apparently it is led by a war hero gone rogue who split with the dominion some time ago, taking a rather terrifying contingent of troops with him, including a small battlecruiser fleet.
The Aleksander and her new escort look to be by no small means his superior, but apparently he has rumored protoss contacts, and the means to cash in those favors. If he were to focus his eyes on you instead of the dominion, it could spell an early end to your campaign.

You are torn, the smaller and rogue outfits of rebels and terrorists of the system make up a number nearly 3 times the assembled forces of Orlan and Raynor, and apparently run a great many other worlds in the outer parts of the sector. If any of these forces were to organise, to draw against you, they may rival the dominion in power. Destroying them outright may not be an option... But you wonder again to the idea of a terran Coalition, or rather, if someone with the right ideas might beat you to it if you tarry.

>Begin organising a propagandist council, add a few transmissitter arrays to the foundry queue, and send a request to the admirals for permission to transmit from the spy sattelites when the time comes
>Make contacting Raynors Raiders a priority. They are not under surveilance right now, but trapping and disposing of them, or rallying them to your cause may serve you well.
>See about organising a small detachment to visit deadmans port and see about establishing a base of operations. Hiring the local muscle would swing any battle
>set your sights on Orlan. If he can be swayed or removed, setting yourself as master of Deadmans would net a massive supply of industry and labor, as well as trained mercenaries.

Resisting the urge to squeeze out every cent that Boyd owes, you turn away from the box full of electronics and wait for him to bumble back in. A low roar comes from outside, shortly followed by your name called out. Wanting nothing more than to get this over with, you step out and prepare to try and move this along as soon as possible.

Out of the backdoor, with a toothy grin on his face, Boyd stands beside a rumbling red bike at hand. "Pretty uh...pretty cool, huh?" he somehow shouts over the engine, turning it off when it proves too loud for his wasted self. "It's a uh... Kawa-somethin', GP- uh...GPZ whatever the number on the side is. One thousand hundred. Got it from uh...where'd I get this...from. Some guy kicked the bucket or somethin', girlfriend didn' know what it was really worth. Jus' got it runnin' earlier... haven't gotten to uh, show it off yet."

Boyd holds out the keys in an inviting manner, the way he had done several times years ago.

This time, you shake your head at the offer.

"Whu'? You don' wanna ride? That's uh, that's alright. I'll jus' leave these keys in here for ya..." Boyd returns the key back to the ignition, patting the seat. "Now if you'll ex-cuse me. I'm either bout to pass out or puke and I'd rather do it uh...inside. See you 'round, Law." You wait outside, just long enough to make sure he gets inside. Looking back at the motorcycle, you can't help but wonder if he'd always been like this, or if you grew up while he tried to cling to the past.

Not wanting to waste any more time out in the dark, you give the red bike one last look before returning to your car. It wouldn't be surprise you if there was news of Boyd's early death in the paper one of these days.

The drive back to the house is short, much too short. During that time you managed to kill through three cigarettes and practically the remainder of your pack, keeping the last one for later. There's a creeping feeling in your gut, like some teenager about to go home and admit the bad things he did. Except this time, you're letting them know that their only remaining child is running away and might really never come back.

You spend much longer than you should in the dark driveway, trying to get your bearings in order. Out of desperation, you take out the notebook and start to scribble down in the pages. It takes a couple of tries, scratching out and starting over again, but somehow you manage to write down something that you consider bearable. The entire trip to the front door, you try to plan how this should all go down. Your dad already knows what's about to happen, he'll probably help keep your mom calm. Delilah should go upstairs in the meantime, and then you just have to pass over the letter you wrote. Get through that, go to bed, and then get through tomorrow till Crockett gets here. Easy enough- you've gotten through worse.

"Oh, welcome back sweetie." From the kitchen, your mother greets you without any idea of what's about to happen. She stops her search in the cabinet, your father sitting in the living room. "Can't find where I put my wine... Hm? You okay?" Not one to miss out on the smallest detail, she can undoubtedly tell that you have something heavy weighing on your chest. With a dry mouth you nod, but it's clear as day that there's something about to go down. Your mother gives up the search, coming into the living room now. Right away you search for Delilah, and the panic on your face when she doesn't show up must be more than enough to alert your mother.

"Looking for your friend? She's upstairs... Seems like she's real squeamish. Jacks was messing with one of the window panes in the garage and nicked himself. Nothing bad, just had some blood running down his wrist. I was more worried about her passing out from it, if anything. But I helped her lay down a while ago... she's been down once or twice but she's trying to sleep it off I think." You don't doubt that she's concerned about her, but her words sound stressed.

"Need talk. Both...of you." Giving a quick glance over to your father and back, you can barely stomach the look heartbreak that already overcomes your mother's face.

...

[2/4]
>>
All you can do is sit on the couch with your head bent down, waiting for them to finish the letter you wrote out.

I never wanted to be a burden for either of you
All I've done is hurt you both, inconveniencing and using your hospitality and just bringing bad news
There's been a lot of mistakes I've made, and tomorrow night I'm leaving with the girl again
I have no idea when, or if, I'll end up coming home again

A short letter, but your mother keeps reading it over and over again. Her hand begins to shake with each read through, choking up as your father finally tries to process the fact that you really are leaving again.

"Lawrence..." your mother sobs, page still in her hand as her head collapses in them. "D-Do you really have to go...? S-So soon?"

"I'm pretty sure he does, Delilah." Your father can barely offer any comfort to her, her shoulders starting to shake as she can't even look at you.

"I'm sorry." Forcing yourself to look up at them, you repeat it again. "I'm sorry. For not...being better." It only takes a second before her arms wrap around you, refusing to let go. It continues on for some time, enough for you to return it back.

"Please stay safe for me..." she whispers, embracing you tighter, "Please Lawrence. Don't get hurt anymore..."

It's nothing you can promise, and you're sure she knows that.

...

Her tears don't stop, but your mother finally lets go. More distressed than she had been earlier, she tries to hide it anyways. "No kid wants to keep living with their parents anyways, right?' she tries to say, even if it doesn't apply to this situation at all. "At l-least you gave us a heads up this time... I'll have to make sure to make your f-...favorite breakfast then. And um..." she loses her train of thought, rubbing her temple. "I'm sure you had a long day...you probably want to s-sleep right now instead of listening to me nag. I should go lay d-down too. You did say tomorrow night, right?"

You nod, but it's still much too soon for her. She goes to the bedroom, your father getting up to follow. You expect him to just walk on by, but you're met with a quick and rare embrace by your old man. "You really do need to stay safe out there, we worry about you enough.." And just as quickly as it happens, he lets you go and you're standing alone in the living room. You're glad there wasn't more of a fight, but it doesn't make this feel any better. Tomorrow is going to be harder, and you aren't ready for it.

You are 22 year old Hank Dalton. You just got knocked on your ass and your ears ring like a motherfucker. Holy shit, where'd Garcia go? You swore he was right at the top of...oh wait, he's right next to you. Well, some of him. Head, shoulders, one arm minus the hand. Not much of his face left, mostly skull. The rest of him is...oh Christ fuck it's everywhere. You didn't know the dude too well but he didn't deserve this shit.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=331kyZ9OXMc

Despite your ringing ears Chief's voice is loud and clear in your head.

"Garcia gets to rest now. You don't. Get up, our ride just got here." Chief helps you to your feet and the world slowly comes back into focus. You look down and see Jim sprinting up the hill. His eyes light up when he sees you.
"HANK!"

You grin. "What?"

Jim laughs in relief. "God damn man, don't scare me like-" some odd-looking piece of debris catches his eye and he trails off, the levity draining from his face as he realizes who it used to be part of. "Aw hell."

As the three of you trudge down the hill, mindful of your wounded leg, you notice the Riviera's missing hood and clawed fender.

"Dude, what happened to the Riv?"

"Bears," says Jim.

Zoe waves from the Blazer when you come into view. The Blazer has all its body panels attached but looks fucking horrible. Are those guts hanging off the bumper? Hey, who's that girl sitting in between Zoe and Hawkins?

"Oh yeah, there was also a whole mess of coyotes like last time."

"Wait," says Chief, "Skinwalkers can't control animals. Was the Wendigo there?"

"Yeah," says Jim, "Zoe shot that damn buzzard right out of the sky."

Chief stops dead in his tracks.
"Did you see where it landed?"

Jim shakes his head. "Not exactly."

"Damn," says Chief, and continues walking.

"Who's the girl?" you ask Jim.

"Zoe found her in the trunk of a '68 Fury," he says, "I think they was gonna sacrifice her or something."

"Not just sacrifice," says Chief. "They were probably gonna fucking eat her." You and Jim both stare, horrified. "But you guys fucked their ritual up good. No girl, no Wendigo, they got nothing right now."

Jim turns pale. "Her friend's still with them! Another little girl!"

Chief groans. "The ritual won't work right without the Wendigo," he says, "But that doesn't mean those sick bastards won't still try."

You're now at the foot of the hill. Zoe is off by the Riv and the half decapitated road pirate, checking out that nifty grenade launcher that could have turned you into soup meat like Garcia. Hawkins and the girl are still sitting in the gore-streaked Blazer.

A) Tell Hawkins the bad news
B) Jim or Chief can do that. Go talk to Zoe about the grenade launcher

>You're sitting just outside town on a hill.
>She has a lovely picnic basket and cloth laid down.
>The warm summer air is a welcome change from all that cold you experienced up north.
"S-so, do you do this kind of thing often?"
>"I've used the passage once or twice.. But this is the first time I've really done something like this.."
"O-oh.. I see."
>"So, tell me about yourself Anon."
>You give her the cliffnotes version of what happens as you enjoy bread and wine watching the clouds pass over the quaint little village.
>She seems curious and always seems to ask more questions.
"Alright.. Now tell me about you. Whats the deal with the wings? And uh.. May I see them?"
>"Y-you.. Want to see my wings?"
"I-if it's not too much to ask."
>She stands up spreading her arms.
>The warm breeze makes her dress blow around a bit.
>Suddenly huge white angel wings sprout from her back.
"Wow! That's incredible!"
>She giggles.
>"I've been able to do this ever since I was young.. And, I suppose I've always had a knack for learning too. Once I read something, boom, it's locked up tight and I never forget! I never knew it was a rare skill till people told me that it was, and since then I guess I've always been a big fan of books."
"That's so awesome.. Hey, could I.."
>You reach your hand out toward her wings.
>She nods smiling sweetly at you.
>You place your hands on her wings.
>You feel the soft white feathers, softer than anything you've ever felt.
>Every part of you wishes to caress these wings and fall asleep on them.
>"What do you think?"
"They're so pretty! You're like a real life angel."
>She sits down.
>You sit back down as well continuing to feel her wings a bit.
>"An angel.. People have called me that.. But, would an angel really do the things that I've done?"
"Clarity, you did nothing wrong!"
>"But.. I stared at them.. Those men, I know some of them have wives.. I had those thoughts.. And so, I committed adultery."
>You sigh.
"Well, you may still be a human in that regard. But I don't think any less of you for it."
>"R-really?"
"Yeah.."
>She places her hand on yours.
>You take it holding it.
>She gazes longingly into your eyes as the sun begins to set.
>Everything seems to happen in a whirl.
>Your mind is in a haze.. Your body seems to have a will of it's own.
>You rub your hand along her soft chin.
>And then she presses her lips against yours.
>Lips locked you wrap your arms around each other.
>You stop to breathe.
>"T-this is.. The closest I've ever been with a man.."
"This is the closest I've ever been with a woman.."
>>
>>1401353
>You resume kissing.
>The feeling of her hot breath as she gasps slightly between the pressing of your mouths.
>You fall ontop of her by accident but she doesn't seem to mind.
>With great passion you make out with her, savoring every bit.
"I know perhaps you will think this creepy.. But I used to watch you when I was young.. I would see you from afar.. I had.. I had dreams from then, dreams that right now are coming true!"
>She's blushing.
>"T-truly then, this must be Gods plan.. I've never felt so at ease around anyone.. I know it has been only a few days since we've interacted, but already I feel a fondness for you as if I've known you all my life."
"I feel the same.."
>You hug each other closely.
>The last of the sun goes down over the horizon.
>"It.. It is a shame we cannot spend more time together."
"Yes.. But it would be unwise to linger in the dark where the creatures of the night are here.. Though I would protect you with my life were anything to try and assail us."
>"Your gesture is greatly appreciated.. Today may be the happiest day of my entire life."
"And mine too. Truly nothing in this world has made me as happy as I am right now.."

I'm trying out a new system.

Multiple players crash on an island after being exiled from the home land.
Each of you will quest individually, growing stronger, until you meet. Then you kill each other to gain the other's powers or you team up.

The game will continue until someone rules the island.
I won't post the full rules but here's the gist of the system.

Pick one word to describe your character.
This is your character's soul.
Each soul level is 1d6.

When in combat both parties roll the d6s equivalent to the soul they are using.
You can acquire multiple souls. Your souls can acquire multiple words.
How specific your soul is to the action you intend to perform effects your bonuses to rolls.
This includes combat and target-rolls for random events.
Gear will be self explanatory.

I will be rolling for loot and random events in the background.
I will also be keeping track of your location in the world map.
I will alert you to buffs/debuffs that your character is aware of before you roll.
You will become alert to all buffs/debuffs after you roll if they affect them.

Anyway I didn't want to write even this much so lets get it started.
I'll be back in 30 to start, meanwhile make your characters.

Example Character:

Name: Richard
Soul: Wizard
Exiled: Killed an apprentice in training

More explanation of mechanics:
Since Richard has the wizard soul, spotting magical items receives a +5 to any roll.
This is because it involves magic which is related to his wizard soul.
There are many categories and random events that give you bonuses depending on your soul. Choose wisely.

Lets say later Richard gets an additional word: fire
Now he's a fire wizard.
Lets say he activates a trap that launches a ball of fire at him.
Before he would have received no bonus to his roll but now he gets a +10 because of how specific it is to his soul.

Souls not to choose:
God, Chair, Naruto, Fire, ect. I hope you get the idea
>>
>>1400742
Name: Lars
Soul: Adventurer
Exiled: Caught looting tribe's ancient ruins
>>
alright i'm back early
Good luck Lars!
Assuming you don't die, you may become the strongest here because of your headstart.
Use it wisely.

>>1400811
You awaken among the shattered remains of the boat that brought you here.
Next to you lies a corpse impaled with wreckage.
As you stand up to walk away, you hear a sound.
The corpse is moving!

Combat has begun, roll 1d6 and describe your action!

Welcome back, everyone, to the eighty-third installment of Mecha Space Pirate Quest. As always, I'm Wong, your host, and today you are once again Heinrich "Caesar" Merrow, an Iron Kestrel ace and former member of SOUL. At least, when you aren't being tourney pilots.

It seems like I owe you lads a writeup of the last fight and, although I've been virtually undead for the past several days, I'm feeling much better now, so let's handle that.

The next fight, by the way, is the Libra versus the Buddy. It and Dutchman versus Chimera are the two CONFIRMED ones.

Alright. I exist and have been looking more at mecha construction. Glad to see you are alright Wong.

Also it still blows my mind that the Jager is a Pumpkinseed when it's built like a really high-class Morgan II to the very nines.

Awesome, I was worried that I'd be up on a day I had to work.

Although the Captcha's have been pissing me off lately, it took about ten minutes just to make this post.

Night had fallen over Iti'a'Ropku, the last glow of sunset fading on the horizon but the city was far from shrouded in darkness. Not only did the city glow with thousands of lights emitted from the windows of buildings and lamps along the paths of canals and streets but also the dancing aurora of lights that appeared in the sky during the winter months on the cold world. Iti'a'Ropku was easy to spot from orbit, a shining beacon of light among the darkness with smaller clusters of glimmering light from various outposts and buildings scattered across the world.

Iti'a'Ropku was more than a city of lights though and as one followed the flow of the citizenry they found themselves drawn toward the chaos of noise and excitement that bubbled over from the Colosseum at the edge of the city. A tunnel of hard-light flashes into being over one of the main thoroughfares as a pair of hover-craft roar past sending a shower of sparks into the air as the racers scrape against each other, the tunnel fading quickly after they had passed.

Inside the Colosseum itself was a riot of the senses. The air was filled with the scents of the dozens of various food stalls that locals had built to serve their own creations from their various cultures mingling with the ever-present haze of the narcotikelp smoke and the distinct smell of blood underneath it all. Crowds cheered and shouted as Tyrre gladiators dueled with packs of Trolls in vicious claw-to-claw melees.

Yet silence fell among the crowds, the once empty stands now at least partially filled with the recently adopted populace from Kanda, as the ringleader, a human woman standing on a hover platform that glided over the bloodied sands as the injured and dead were taken from the fields. Her booming voice carried over the speakers around the Colosseum as she grandly announced the next event.

"Welcome, one and all! Tonight we shall once again witness the skill and power of our greatest contestants! You know them and you either love or hate them depending on how well you gamble," she paused for a crowds laughter then continued as the platform swings around at perilous speeds, her arms snapping open, "It is my pleasure to welcome to the Colosseum once more, the Butcher's Terrible Twins!"

As she drew out the name most dramatically hatch slid open in the middle of the arena floor and a platform rose up bearing the twin epikor soldiers, nameless and fearless they wore grandly shaped armor detailed with bladed scales like an Ahkams, their helms reminiscent of Vle'Karak's own visage. They lifted their axes into the air and saluted to the crowds by thumping their fists to their chest then turning to bow where a Harbinger sat high above watching.

The ringleader waited for the cheering and boos to calm down before announcing their first opponents for the night and a pack of cloned Rukorian Kryssers dart out of side-gates of the arena, the cheering surging forth once more as blood stained the ground with a fresh coat.

This thread will be a bit different as it will be a continuation of the previous thread since we still need to attend to Jor and the Commanders big mission.

We can also use this thread to discuss troop designs both Legion and Reconstructed since there was talk about that in recent threads but I never got around to it (sorry)

So the time line is not moving forward
Like in terms of things that are measured in the passing of threads

Can research still move forwards? It makes sence that we would make thinktanks to keep up with the expansion of things to do. Now each in game day or whatever amount of time each thread is more things need to happen that can happen in one thread
It's like civ on PC early turns are like 100 years but eventually are 1 year later in game

Am I making sense? English is hard

In the Grim Darkness of the 41st millenium, there is only war. But how did it get like that? Could things have been different? What if the primarchs were on different sides? What if they were different primarchs entirely?

This question will attempt to answer that question. You, yes you, the shit poster, the quester, the disgruntled qm who has no time for his quest, you the bright eyed and bushy tailed first quester and the bored mod will have the chance to determine the fate of the imperium of mankind through the actions of the primarchs.

But before we go into this we need to determine something, and no sadly not the dificulty. This is a game of primarchs, not an easy mode task.

No. We have to determine how unique this quest is going to be in order of primarchs. Primarch selection is important. So to help out, I made four primarch templates, that you can put in. Currently they are stuffed in mystery boxes, I mean primarch generation stasis chambers. You can pick as many or as few as you like. With each mystery box you open you also get 1 redo! This allows you to redo a primarch in the quest, change a decision or change a roll result. You also get 1d6 of these. You may use these once per thread.

Finally you may pick up to two original primarchs to join the quest. If you choose them, their origin remains the same, however this does not mean that their fate remains as such! They can ultimately can change sides, be redeemed or corrupted.

So fair questers, before we begin, do you care to see our fine selection of mystery boxes, or do you want to dive right into primarchs?

>Yes show me your boxes
>No

I know you like the boxes Taman, so i must deny you. And get the show on the road.
