[s4s] is overrun with /b/ tier posters who would've never found the board if it wasn't displayed everywhere.

The chatroom users want their namefag circlejerk back. [s4s] is at a pretty low point right now, but I'd rather see it deleted than have it be an unironic namefag jackoff party.

I don't disagree, but I feel like its main problems are slowly fixing themselves. It got a bump in badposting when it was featured on r/4chan, and another upon the /r9k/ invasion. The frogposting is dying down, and the novelty may be wearing off for the Reddit users (I could be cliche and say they're the same userbase, but eh)

I'm holding out hope before signing my prestigious name to anything drastic.

I feel that unlisting [s4s] is necessary to protect the board's constructive community -- these are the arguable "quality" posts people refer to.

It's too easy to drown out what they work towards and frankly it's sad to see people spamming pepe threads while other posters fight to keep the s4s album thread alive.

Why don't we value the content-oriented side of s4s's community? Some of their stuff even gets stickied so I know the mods have some inclination towards it.

The root of the issue, I truly feel, is the Minecraft server. It's on some "4chan Minecraft" lists which, right there, is attracting a pretty undesirable element. Edgy adolescents may like the server and want to see what [s4s] is about. They'll scan the front page without lurking and may misconstrue the board as their personal anime boob dump or shitty meme zone. They don't appreciate well-wrought satire or any of the creative works and just want to post le funfrog

i'd like it unlisted. newfriends are awesome but they can find the board on their own (somehow i managed to?). if i remember right it was on the [a / b / c / d / e / f / g / list of boards but not linked on the homepage (and not on the rules, lol, but they'll probably keep those). maybe just unlisting it there would be nice. you'd think not many people visit the homepage but traffic has been relatively high ever since then.
