It seems I'm a bit lost, I can't find the philosophical board anymore...
Has anyone seen it lately?
I kinda miss it.
History
Theology
Philosophy

Not as much demand for Theology/Philosophy compared to History. I suppose they could be combined as /hum/ - Humanities

>>>/reddit/
/acg/ - Academy Generals
For the discussion of information seen from an academic (that is, multiple valid points of view aside from the usual, scientific one) perspective. I suppose most of those questions don't have easy answers, and since there are several different schools of thought and careers to see things through, maybe each one could have a general.
History, Theology, Philosophy are catch-all points of view, in that they talk about humanity in all of their aspects. Maybe not so much with the latter. Literature talks about the struggles of humanity and their highest achievements, Films can also represent those pretty well, as most Artistic expressions do. Studies about language and math are also pursued in /sci/ and (surprisingly) /r9k/ every once in a while, but they are seen from a STEM point of view, highly technical and answer-based.
In short, /acg/ is a thing 4chan does not possess. The question is, is there enough need for such a board to be created? I would say if we have /po/ and /mlp/ and /vp/ and /3/, we should have /acg/

While we patiently wait for /sci/ to catch up, why not /hyp/ for hypotheticals?
You'll enjoy /lit/ then.

:^)
If /lit/ is any indication, then a history board will nothing but a black hole of pure retardation pseudo intellectual shit post circle jerking
Philosophy threads on /sci/ always fail miserably and end up like this
>I think X, based on nothing at all
>You can't know that or even prove it
>My philo 101 professor, Dr. Goldstein said so
>You're just a fucking pleb
>Too deep4u
Theology threads on both /sci/ and /pol/ turn into nothing but atheist reddit tier circle jerks.
