Does ISIS really have manpads? I've never seen them use one.

Also, you think those silly russian pilots can get those flares to land on, say, a pile or rags and cause a fire? I'd love to see something funny like that.
>>
>>53805050
US dropped 100 of them to the "FSA" back in 2012 to take down Assad's air force.
5 were fired. The rest vanished.

There was one unconfirmed report of a manpad being fired at a Russian plane in the first week, but nothing since.
>>
>>53805015
Based on Russia's plans, they seem to be planning to blitz as much territory they can get in the span of.. what was it? 6 weeks of intervention? And then top it off with something they call "Political Compromise".

I've no idea what that means, but if I know one thing, terrorists don't know the meaning of "compromise" or "political".
>>
>>53805050

They do have SAMs yes man portable and vehicle mounted, the latter being seized in Iraq and from the Syrian gov't, but Russkis will just spam countermeasures per usual as seen in the recent vids of VERRRRRRRRRP grinding kebabs

Website of volunteers helping refugees in Berlin, a glimpse into reality. These are the people who love refugees and want to keep them all, what the write is based on their daily effort and experience
sorry i'm not going to translate it all, key points
>volunteers work every day, up to 15h, and are not paid.
>takes 57 days of waiting just to get registered, having to visit offices daily and sit there for hours,
>hostels and official accomodation refuse to (or can't) take in more refugees
>people sleep in tents, in other peoples homes or under the sky

My predictions...

FSA/Al Nusra will cease to exist in 4-5 months, all of them will defect to ISIS

SAA will regain Aleppo and Palmyra in 6 months

Homs-Hama highway will be reopened by the Syrian Army in 1 month

Kweires Airbase siege will be lifted in one month or less.

Jirs al Shougur liberated in 3 months, Idlib in 6

The last battles will be against what is left of Al Nusra/other islamist terrorists in south Syria and the last big battle will be Deir Ezzor and the Druze Beast will be appointed as the new General of the Army.

Also, today was a great day for the Syrian Army, they are opening fronts and fronts with the support of the RuAF and iraqi/afghan/hezbollah fighters.
Already 4 places liberated in Aleppo south in one day of offensive.

UNDEFEATED

>meanwhile in japan

AFTER returning to power in December 2012, Shinzo Abe, Japan’s prime minister, worked hard to persuade reluctant leaders in Okinawa to abandon their resistance to the long-mooted construction of a new military base for American marines at Henoko, a pristine beach on the prefecture’s main island. He, and the Americans, hailed it as a breakthrough when a building permit was issued the following year. Now the governor of Okinawa, Takeshi Onaga, who was elected in 2014, has revoked the permission. Mr Abe, and the Americans, will not be happy.

>TL;DR = Okinawa's governor has revoked permission again for a new American army base

You mean the communist - imperial war ?
Either way everything I said stands, for an army to be effective you need to have experienced commanders.
Can't expect that with an army that was never at war or just formed or had most of it experienced commanders executed.
It's not the losses that make them effective, it's the experience gained from both wins and losses.

I suspect broad autonomy. If they show themselves to be good responsible citizens in the eyes of whoever is appointed judge, they will get independence in time. maybe. a Kurdish state separating iran from iraq and iran from turkey would completely change the middle east. they could have ports on the black sea, the med and the red sea. Why make it red? FSA is a secular power, that Russia officially wants to support, to end the conflict in a political way as quickly as possible.

It`s just a coincidence, that nobody have contacts of any ruling officer of this FSA. And americunts, that spent 500 millions for their training have contacts only of 6 FSA fighters, that are no generals or anything like that.

If secular FSA comes out and says that they do not want a peacefull political solution, then Lavrov would make the statement about change of russian position on FSA, then it will be red.

Syria and Israel have always been enemies. Since they can't kill off Syria and Annex the entire nation, they'll just have them, along with other unfriendly nations, broken apart. Israel only supports the Kurds if it means weakening their Arabian State Enemies.
>>
>>53812911
Not if the Rebels are killed off. Once the Rebels are done for, along with the Islamic State, they'll begin a campaign against the Kurds. the k*rds in syria dont have oil i think

they would die of hunger or something
>>

>Aren't kurds islamic communists?
I think there are both kinds of kurd but in the end they're all nationalists as opposed to being part of a caliphate.
>>
>>53814409

They are poor everywhere they live, they are the largest ethnic group on earth without their own nation. Cut them some slack they have been good allies in the fight against ISIS.

The real fuckers in all of this are the Turks but they won't let the Kurds have anything. I hope once ISIS is destroyed the Kurds turn the insurgency up a few notches and start fighting the Turks more.
>>

Why don't you do it, Jakobus?
>>

Last time we tried to do it we ended up creating two crap threads at the same time. Where is Comfybro? Hasn't the Canadian come home from work?

>They are poor everywhere they live
nah they are okay in iraqi kurdistan but they have corrupt leaders
>they are the largest ethnic group on earth without their own nation.
for a reason
>Cut them some slack they have been good allies in the fight against ISIS.
lel i have no problem with the YPG, but the PKK could fight satans army and resque jesus christ in syria for all i care

they are freedom fighters in syria, you average good for nothing terrorist in turkey
>The real fuckers in all of this are the Turks but they won't let the Kurds have anything
lol

kurds dont pay taxes, free electicity, free water, turkey invested billions into these shit areas

and as far as i know turkey has decent relations with the kurds in iraq
>I hope once ISIS is destroyed the Kurds turn the insurgency up a few notches and start fighting the Turks more.
i do too, its a wet dream of mine that k*rds break free from turkey

they do have oil but most of the infrastructure to get it has been destroyed. they've spoken in the past on how they would be open to start a new pipeline/refinery with government support. even willing to open the pipeline to western syria if they're able to control the way

http://news.yahoo.com/syrian-kurds-refine-oil-themselves-first-time-072900132.html
>>
>>53814843

Okay I nominate you, just remember to replace the "last thread" link with a copy paste of the URL to this thread.
>>
>>53814845
the oilfields of hasakah they control are about 30% of the country's oil, but they only have like 1 well that's actually operational
>>
>>53814845
thats nice

but the syrian kurds cant get along with the iraqi kurds

they have to get along with each other first

but the iraqi kurds hate the PKK

and the iraqi kurds have good relations with Turkey, so the kurds in iraq making good relations with syrian kurds would mean turkey would drop iraqi kurdistans support

this would all be easier if the PKK would decide to dissolve after the conflict ends imo
>>
>>53814845
One of the big strengths the Kurds have it would seem is unity. Or rather in Iraq they have unity. This leads to good responsible conduct, and disciplined conduct. In Iraq I think they have generated a great deal of goodwill and as a result of that most people are receptive to their message, more so than in the past, when they did not really know anything about them.
>>
>>53814409
Kurds in Syria do have oil. the Hassakah/Jazira region has the most oil. There is a reason why the baathist and arabist Syrian governments tried to change the ethnic mix-up in the Jazira region with arabisation. That north-eastern part of Syria was mostly Kurdish, Assyrian, Armenian, Turkmen, Syriac, with a very small arabic minority. The governments tried to change that by displacing the locals, canceling the nationality of a lot of kurds, and encouraging arabs with incentives to go to the Jazira. Even the former Head of Syrian Army, a Kurd, got his nationality canceled by the arabist governments after his resignation in those days.

Syrians used to have the most freedom in the French Mandate period. The arabists, chauvinists and all other retards fucked Syria up after the French. Syria was never meant to rule centrally.

>>53814967
barzani is grinding KRG government mechanations to a halt - hes essentially holding the region hostage so he and his family can stay in power

PKK is extreme in its actions and its ideals are regrettable to say the least. they need to recognize that the freedom they desire isn't a possibility in the current climate. moderating is the only way they'll secure lasting development and peace for turkish kurds

>thats nice but the syrian kurds cant get along with the iraqi kurds
Bullshit. Remember Peshmerga in Kobane? the only Syrian-Iraqi Kurdish conflicts are between the PYD (Political organisation behind YPG) and the PDK (corrupt, tukish influence, poppulist). The rest of the Iraqi Kurds, which is the overwhelming majority, have no problems with Syrian kurds. They have a lot of sympathy for them. Only Turkey influenced politicians from 1 political party don't.

>they have to get along with each other first but the iraqi kurds hate the PKK
yet again only the (hardline) PDK/barzanists
>>
>>53815044
what do you mean in iraq?

because as far as i know the Iraqi government is still extremely against an independant kurdistan

and i would guess iran would also not like that

Turkey probably also not but you never really know what up with our insane leader atm

and even within them they are having problems now

>>53815081
ah thats cool, im glad for them, that they have oil

>>53815138
the pkk needs to dissolve

thats what needs to happen, they should just globally send out a message that they dissolve

they can just join the YPG, no?

Also, do the syrians and iraqis even want Turkish Kurds?

They are mostly islamist conservatives that still vote on erdogan

Houthis kicking ass and taking names.

SANAA, Yemen — Yemen's Shiite Houthi rebels have driven pro-government troops out of the southern Bayda province on Friday, after two months of heavy clashes that killed 550 fighters from the two sides, security and medical officials said.

The Houthis recaptured a key military base in the town of Mukayris and pushed pro-government troops back to Abyan province further south, the officials added. Of the 300 pro-government fighters killed, 30 were mistakenly targeted by airstrikes from the Saudi-led coalition backing the government, they said.

Must be all that khat.
>>
>>53815303
>Bullshit. Remember Peshmerga in Kobane?
they got permission from the turkish government to help them lel, they have to leave after

Also you can say whatever you want about the barzanis, they maybe corrupt, but without them iraqi kurds would never be in this good of a situation, without them they would have never had a safeheaven, he played politics briliantly with their neighbors

Who do the Kurds have as friends?

Iraq/iran will not like them

assad will not like them

turkey could like iraqi, but deff not syrian+iraqi and DEFF not after the pkk joined them
>>
>>53815489
Houthi's are shit. No one knows what their aims really are. They are now being supported by the ousted president, the one they fought for a decade. Houthi's blow up a lot of beautiful buildings, structures etc just for revenge. That's the sad thing about Yemen, no side represents the real Yemeni people, all sides are basically warlords warring.
>>
>>53815622

I support them merely because of the fact that they are fighting the Saudis, the most evil force in the Middle East.

Just wait until they start fighting in the mountains.

Bruh, you act as if Barzani's/PDK are the only element of Iraqi Kurds that contributed to the succces of the KRG. You should know that that's definitely not true. There are a lot of other politicians.

First of all, at this moment the best (in terms of effectiveness of rule) politicians aren't PDK, the best military strategists DEFINITELY aren't PDK. 90% of the respected generals are not PDK. Economically, the PDK has a lot of leverage, but non-PDK were more innovative in that region, because of the 90's dual administration where the PDK had crowded bordercrossings, and non-PDK didn't.

>>
>>53815966
Barzani is deff the biggest contributor

it is he that played the politics briliantly with his neighbor nations, its thanks to him that an independant kurdistan is likely mostly because of him

the world aint a shiny place, barzani knows that, he would never ask turkey for land, the YPG did that multiple times like the retards they are

we should have just given turkish kurdish land away and build a wall, now even the turkish kurds realize that they would die of hunger if they would seperate or some other ISIS thing would destroy them, stupid turkish nationlists
>>
>>53815622
>. Houthi's blow up a lot of beautiful buildings, structures etc
Fucking faggot. Afraid your options for vacation will become smaller?
>>
>>53815622
Our aim is plain and simple. No U.S interference,No Saudi interference, No outside forces influencing our country or our destiny. We are not an Iranian proxy, we do not want an imamate. If the GCC and the world have a problem with us being an Iranian proxy for the sin of kind off having the same sect then they can go Fuck themselves. You have a problem with Iran then fucking attack Iran. And what fucking "beautiful" structures did we blow up?
