Another 6 months. The Focus right now is to secure more territory in Damascus, Homs, and Latakia; then to begin establishing territorial control within Idlib. Full control of Aleppo is not necessary, let the Islamic State continue to kill off the rebels then re-capture the territory at a later point in time.

Which reminds me, surely all parties involved in Syria are trying not to telegraph their intentions to the enemy. So there may be some level of misdirection in the information provided.

For example, it was expected YPG would attack Cerablus, but YPG announced they're going to be taking Raqqa with the new rebel alliance.

Probably. Who knows whether any of it is true or not.

>For example, it was expected YPG would attack Cerablus, but YPG announced they're going to be taking Raqqa with the new rebel alliace.

That will be a hard fought battle. Raqqa is heavily fortified, even with Coalition support, I expect there will be a lot of casualties. Throw in the fact that the Russian Air Force is active, Coalition support has not been as strong as it used to be.

Regarding the Iranian military, I don't expect them to be more than to man the checkpoints and free up ground troops for the SAA. Maybe some special operations work, but I don't see much else.

First an Antonov 124 land in Latakia

Then a Syrian plane goes from Latakia to some place in Syria.

Russian troops confirmed ???
>>

No wonder saudis are having a hard time.

Looking at twitter pictures; the Syrian army guys just seem like normal people with regular jobs outside the army. Sitting around smoking and stuff between missions. These are the actual moderates that should have been backed all along.

where you been m8, these battles have been going on for months. look at the channel that posted the video (al masirah), they post combat videos all the time. houthi-bro posts in these threads sometimes

in addition, this other channel has a selection of vehicle kills in KSA

houthi tank battles 20 KM into KSA territory
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyllGmyqYDk

after taking out one tank, they dont have enough ATGM shots to eliminate a responding AMX60, so a boss battle ensues three squads attempt to take it out with regular RPG hits to limited effect (but have partial penetration at the end, so tank retreats)

Never, they've had all the help from the US possible, billions upon billions of high tech weaponry sent to them, for fucks sake this isn't old soviet tanks the houthis have been destroying like in syria, these cunts are dealing with abrams.

Saudi's have no god damn idea how to wage war, only cut off hands and heads.
>>
>>53778844
actually, most of the weapons they're using are yugo and ex-soviet armaments (which saleh had purchased long before the arab spring which he was removed). now he is essentially back in power with soldiers loyal to him. they were taught advanced anti-armor tactics by american trainers. remember, as many as 80% of the yemeni army defected to the houthis when they took over.
>>
>>53779400
to be fair, they are technically winning. capturing entire south Yemen and all.
>>
>>53779855
remember, at one point yemen was a strategic US ally and we had military cooperation with them. most of their generals and highranking officers were personally trained by the US. unlike saudi officers, these guys actually listened to their training.

Most likely, you gotta realise that the thick armour acts like insulation, When an entire combat load of ammunition goes of in that tank all of that heat is released at a monumentally higher rate than it is lost through the top so it gets hotter and hotter.
Basically the interior of that tank turned into a blast furnace, we're talking 1000's of degrees Celsius in there.

Not sure, but it seems like it's mostly been in the last 50 years or so, and especially the last 20. I think people have mostly encountered it used in political rhetoric in combination with descriptive adjectives in the past, and since these were usually "bad" things like "fascist" and "oppressive," the connotation eventually seems to have attached itself to the noun in popular use. The recent popularity of the phrase "regime change" for getting rid of governments we don't like is a major factor seems to have completed the shift.

Realistically if you enforce a strict hierarchy it's pretty effective.

Thanks for checking, m8. I just looked into it, looks like the Russkis have won in court here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stolichnaya#Trademark_ownership_and_production_rights

So we may be getting the Russian stuff soon. The former distributer here (SPI) are a bunch cunty fags though:

>In July 2013, columnist Dan Savage joined gay bars and clubs and called for a boycott of Stolichnaya and other Russian vodkas. The boycott is in response to anti-gay laws enacted by the Russian government.[30][31]

>In response, SPI released a statement expressing their opposition to Russia's anti-gay policies, stating that, "Stolichnaya Vodka has always been, and continues to be, a fervent supporter and friend to the LGBT community."[32][33]

>SPI have released additional statements "announced that in response to the boycott the company would be making a financial donation to an unspecified group working on behalf of Russian LGBT activists fighting against the Russian government’s anti-gay policies."[34] The CEO of the company also insisted that the company is "not a Russian company", even though "the company operates a distillery in Russia, that several hundred of its 2,500 employees are in Russia and that it obtains its ingredients from Russia."[34]

Literally social justice: the booze company.

I fell for the same trap with pic related. They even dropped the abv to 38 instead of 40. Should be solved soon though.

Until then I just stick to Russian Standard. It's good stuff.

I knew a guy who managed to get a bottle of soviet era vodka from Poland. But it was flavored.
Over time the alcohol content deteriorated. Him and his mate drunk the whole thing and werent even close to pissed.
