Yes. Here is my analogy of the two biggest parties in America.

You need to brush your teeth. The Democrats will grab a toothbrush and put toothpaste on it. They will tell you to open your mouth and then proceed to brush your teeth for you.

The Republicans will show you where the toothbrush and toothpaste are and tell you to do it yourself.

Both parties will help you, but one of them thinks you are incapable of doing things yourself. That you are too dumb to do anything yourself. So they do things for you and you never learn to take care of yourself. You end up relying on them for everything.
