Only mistreated and badly trained ones. We have had dogs serving in our police and military forces for ages and they are quite loyal.

Just read a bit into yours. From what I've read yours can do carrier take offs which is really impressive but other than that they appear to have the same technology. There's a few claims made about Tanaris by BAE such as it doesn't need anyone controlling it until it reaches the combat area but I don't know how much credence that holds.
Realistically i'd say neither of our drones are ahead of each others.

Carrier take off and landing is tricky with a manned craft let alone a drone. It really is quite the technical challenge to get that right and do so reliably.

It's difficult but it will never be impossible. The combat doctrine is built around this, so the drone flies a preset flight path and shuts down part of its comms, then when it's in the AO it opens back up to control. So you can either take control when it's receiving flight plan or afterwards when it's performing it's real time mission.
