The problem is I enjoy my job and the people I work with and it pays all my bills so I have little incentive to move up and thus I have stagnated.

I'm literally autistic. Despite having a good STEM background I've had 50 phone/in-person interviews and not a single offer. Chad will always get the offer unless you're an engineer or programmer.
