So I saw pic related the other day and it made me wonder what rights people had to Gawker Media's tax records.

Hopefully one of your corporate or federal gents can advise, but I was under the impression that you cannot review tax records under you're either:

A) a reporter/member of the media
B) a stockholder/shareholder in the company in question

I'm unfamiliar with corporate tax records, but I imagine that GM's tax returns would probably break down revenue, maybe clue in on the big sponsors? At worst, it would give some idea of GM's actual operating margins.
